Scroll wheel doesnt work on velvet settings, some of the matrix, and microtuning presets, and voice number. I like to switch settings with scroll wheel because it's much faster than going to list.

Found a GUI bug:
Oscillator B's "Octave" label is way off to the right. The text should be centered under the label. I thought I screwed something up while skinning, until I did a reinstall and the issue persisted. You can even see it on the screenshot on page 1 of this thread.

Congrats on the Beta! Sounds really good
I'm trying it out now, was playing with the Keys presets using sustain pedal, and got some occasional pops when hitting chords (not the demo crackles), tried switching to multicore mode and it made it worse with significantly more pops. According to logics cpu meter it's still only on one core, but on macOS cpu meter it looks like some load on a few other cores. I was a little surprised that it wasn't flawless since I'm on a brand new 2017 iMac i7 4,2ghz quadcore. I'm assuming there might be some setting in logic that I'm getting wrong that prevents it from going multicore. For comparison i tried Bazille with Keys patches and sustain pedal, also set to multicore, it shows two cores being used in logic's cpu meter and no popping.
This is a small thing but when switching between TUC Choir Strings Muted and HS Triller theres a bit of a popping sound during the transition.

I also get pops occasionally while my CPU is not anywhere near its limit...
I even get the impression that it messes with my DAW as the pops were even there when using Sylenth1 after using Repro

No, I meant the parameters change from version to version, i.e. we usually add stuff in subsequent updates. Hence "Parameter Parameters" are not represented by a value (0,1,2,...97) but by a literal identifier ("VCF:Cutoff"). Which unfortunately does not map to anything a host could automate.BobDog wrote:It's only the FX params that change maybe and you can only ever have one of each FX, or am I missing something?

But they go away once you stop dragging...?Yorrrrrr wrote:I still see some GUI glitches (mainly white lines) when dragging, and brigthness inconsistencies in both RePro-5 and 1. FL Studio user here.
This was the ultimate CPU saving surgery. White Lines while dragging in FL is still better than bringing down the CPU when dragging in any host

Thanks for the info.
Nice synth by the way

I downloaded the beta of Repro-5 and opened it up. I thought this was a free Beta app. Instead, I get a pop-up telling me to enter a serial and if I don't it's just a demo.

Maybe change your name to "ReadmourPosts" and follow suit to lessen your disappointment in the future?SeymourMills wrote:I downloaded the beta of Repro-5 and opened it up. How do I get a fully functional beta version that isn't automatically a demo on my Mac? Very disappointed.

Same message on Windows. Just click the pop up away (x in the corner, like with any other windows).SeymourMills wrote:I downloaded the beta of Repro-5 and opened it up. Why do you think people have the demo noise in their audio demos posted here?

I just started checking the Repro-5 public beta (currently at Windows 10 64-bit and Live 9.7.5 64-bit) and the fact that this is finally avauilable. Will check this in more detail ASAP but the first imression of teh overall sound quality is just great.
My Repro-1 license seems to work nicely with Repro-5 and no re-entering of the serial was necessary for that.
I was a bit confused about a few patches that used velocity control while i did not find a knob for that.
There is a "VEL" knob (or better "a screw") in both envelopes that is just hard to see at a first look. Maybe the color could be changed a bit so this is better visible.
CPU use is indeed really high but with multicore enabled i could also use the HQ mode at my older i5-3350P CPU withozut drop outs.

Wow, I had never even seen that before, as I said earlier, the GUI is far from ideal...Ingonator wrote:There si a "VEL" knob (or better "a screw") in both envelopes that is just hard to see at a first look. Maybe the color could be changed a bit so this is better visible.
