Yes, exactly, it creates fast repeated patterns (optionally slightly modified) that are useful for strings, for example.yellukhan wrote:didn't had chance to try deeply the new Generators yet but,
(late to party .. sorry if its discussed already)
just out of curiosity
isn't the Ostinato Generator should produce something like this chop patterns actually?
Great news this will fit into my preferred way of working beautifullyThe plan is that you will be able to select the notes that phrase generators can use. Just like today when rhythm is independent of the phrase generator, in the future the allowed notes will also come from outside, and all phrase generators will use only those notes.
This means fairly big changes in rendering logic and rewriting all phrase generators, and their inspectors...
That is why this will happen only in v4.0 because it will break backward compatibility with old composition files
I must admit this is on my to-do list for a long time. While having a Mute variation is a great idea, I can imagine a small icon next to the name that you could directly click, which could mute/unmute all selected phrases.BluGenes wrote:Is there a way to mute a phrase on a track? Right, it will be definitely more logical this way...secondstep wrote:Great news this will fit into my preferred way of working beautifully

That would be even nicer.. You already have a mute all, on the track.. It would also need to be able to paint the phrase in a color indicating it is muted, like grayed out..musicdevelopments wrote:I must admit this is on my to-do list for a long time. Other Developers could learn so much from you Attila !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!musicdevelopments wrote:...
Yes, you keep me busy, but I enjoy that. This ensures the development follows the real demand, instead of adding features that I think you would need...
Yes, indeed, this is a small bug. It will be taken care of soon.BluGenes wrote:Master track BPM vs Master track dialog BPM.. the dialog changes the master track BPM, but, not the other way around.. Looks like a bug, but, not sure if you have a reason behind that..
