How similar is the sound of Bazille to the System 100m?

I've read that Bazille was inspired by the 100m, but I'm just curious if the actual oscillators and filters were modeled after it? Other than the digital PM and additional coolness.

I've never used a roland 100m but I do find that bazille has that shiny roland sound to it (which I like) when not pushing the digital side too hard. I'm sort of surprised because it seems to do that even better than Diva, which has actual modeled roland oscillators on it. Is it my imagination?

I demoed the Roland System 100m plug out which is supposed to be fairly accurate (https://www.roland.com/global/products/ ... _plug-out/ ) - you can try it free with the Roland Cloud thing. I wasn't that impressed (sound is good, GUI horrible) and much prefer Bazille although I have no idea if its authentic, I just preferred the sound and workflow. Same for most of the Roland plugs so far I am afraid, other people have done Roland better than Roland have done Roland IMHO!
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

It's not inspired by a System 100m in the sense of that one tries to sound like the other.

My school just had a System 100m back in the days, and I have fond memories of it. Which inspired me to think about doing modular systems with similar complexity, such as ACE and Bazille.

In the meantime I have acquired a System 100m, but it pales next to the magnificent options available in Eurorack format these days.

I see. I just found Bazille to have a roland like quality, even the filter reminds me of the 101 style (which I'm most familiar with) and the oscs do as well.

Thank you - yeah, I guess I always liked Roland's sound, so much of what I come up with might end up sounding similar.

I love Bazille and the 101: any tip to empersonate the latter with the former? Thanks!

By the way, Any idea when Bazille will get the 48 note pitch bend range?

Next update... hope we'll be able to slowly update everything next year, i.e. no more stalls due to plug-in formats, system updates and so on.

Cool. I hope there will be a setting to set the CV signals to whatever CC you want to, that would be awesome.

And shuffle for the sequencer would make it perfect. Is that something you'd consider?
