Actually besides the filter and the fact it has 3 Oscs the Memorymoog concerning the included CEM chips seems to be close or even similar to a Prophet 5 (while the circuits in which the CEM chips are included might be different). It indeed is not simply a polyphonic Minimoog while having the poly option in The Legend is still very nice to have (even if it is currently only using 4 voices).Urs wrote: it simply isn't a polyphonic Minimoog.
Personally i would be happy about a Memorymoog emulation with the same quality as e.g. Repro-5 or The Legend. On the other hand i was able to get somehow close using the Jupiter 6/8 and Minimoog modules in Diva. Repro-5 might be able to replicate certain patches too. Feature wise it does not seem to be very far.
I currently would call Repro-5, Repro-1,The Legend, Diva and also some of the Roland plugins "state of the art" in terms of analog modeling while i really like the Xils Lab plugin too and got most of them. The additional faetures added with PolyKB III compared to v2 were amazing IMO and besides that they were the first to offer a Polymoog emulation that is actually based on analog modeling instead of using samples.
