Here is another quick vid on how to add some harmony to your percussion. Its late here now, but I'll try to add the preset to the online exchange later.

Thanks for the video
I watched it twice.
Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a way to have the bumped frequency respond to Midi instead of setting everything up manually? Sending the Midi output of a VSTi into the Melda plugin and have the bump follow along to the notes.

Play it by ear

That would be nice. I asked Vojtech about comb filters that followed pitch before in MPS and he said maybe in MYYY. Apparently there is some type of technical problem, but hopefully he can find a solution. Comb filters can be used to make all sorts of physically modeled sounds, so I hope we can get that in MYYY.pheeleep wrote:Thanks for the videoI watched it twice.

You mean like this? viewtopic.php?f=138&t=495364#p6938844
I guess for chords it would get messy since the MIDI button is global to the plugin. You'd have to mix together multiple instances of MCombMB. You can't get around that with MXXX either, unfortunately.
It would be nice if the MIDI tab could be moved or copied into the modulators such that different modulators could respond to different MIDI note ranges.

Thanks for pointing out the keyboard helper for tuning each filter. Easily missed if one doesn't manually set the Frequency, in the popup.
Also wanna say that your channel is great for tips on Melda plugins!

MWobbler is IMHO the only MP plugin that has an easy way to do this. You can acces the settings by clicking on the "MIDI follow" button. Unfortunately there is no visual clue that is active once you have closed the settings window.pheeleep wrote:Wouldn’t it be cool if there was a way to have the bumped frequency respond to Midi instead of setting everything up manually?
I wished that all payed plugins with frequency control had such a button.

Levendis - Thanks. The keyboard for frequency is a godsend for things like a this. I would never have the patience to look up all those different frequencies myself.

The video doesn't play here for some reason, so I may be off the point: could you use MIDI Settings / Notes to control the frequencies? As in my "Beef up your bass" thread. Make sure that you set the Shift to -12 and the MIn/Max Freqs to 20Hz / 20kHzpheeleep wrote:Thanks for the videoI watched it twice.
