Honestly, I vote no.
Personally, I would prefer to see u-he team investing their magic touch cloning classic analogue synths such as the Octave Cat SRM project they started … I would happy as well to invest my money on those new products!
Personally I do not use so many layers. When you program a good patch on a fantastic synth such as Repro-1 you only need a little bit of reverb or delay and that’s it.
.. And please, please, please! What about a future clone of a classic(s) analogue drum machine(s)?
Regards.

This is DAW-side functionality, its an unnecessary overhead for developers to start working on proprietary solutions for it, especially since they bring their own issues (eg automation when the parameter set is dynamic)
An idiot on Set Theory:
"In some cases there is an object called red that contains everything that is red. In much the same way a pot is a plate."

I vote yes. Sure it's easy to do in a DAW, but can you get multi-layered patches by Howard using only your DAW?

Sadly no. I like to imagine he's discovered the outside world and is off doing super-cool sound design work and doesn't have time for this play anymore.medienhexer wrote:Seeing this necro thread... has bronto ever reapeared?

Since Urs seems to like the modular world and i think VCV rack is a great thing (better than Reaktor maybe) i would like to see companies like U-he creating (also commercial of course) modules for it. I mean that Berlin Modular will never be reality
