Gravy...black friday/cyber monday wiped me out. I waited for Sonokinetic BF/CM but wasn't interested in those offerings. I'm going to have to pretend I didn't read this (as well as their emails because I'm already subscribed).soundbylaura wrote:Just a heads up that Sonokinetic has confirmed they'll be running their 12 Days of Christmas sale and gifts like last year.
"The speculation can end, yes we will host our renowned end of the year campaign again. Starting on December 11th at 17hCET, and for 12 days straight we will offer you deals and gifts like never before. Subscribe on https://www.sonokinetic.net/sale or stay tuned if you're already signed up."
If you don't already, it would behooooooove you to follow Sonokinetic on social media & join their emailing list so you don't miss out on any giveaways i.e. last year Ostinato had a limited number of free licenses.

Yep! But, I passed. Just posting that in case anyone else needs some solidarity in resistance. There's nothing wrong with it, it's great value, but, I have drum machine samples out the wazoo and I don't really use synth samples very much.Fleer wrote:Don't forget that amazing Samples from Mars deal, all products for $39.
Have to say though, I spent about the same amount on Soniccouture Broken Wurli and I don't feel ripped off at all. Cheers James and Dan, I dig your appreciation of subtlety.

Very different plugins. Imperial delay is really a finishing type of delay, smooth and classy sound but you can tweak the hell out of it. If you are trying to dial in a sound this is the really good for fine tuning and getting the results. It also does a good tape delay with the modulation. Replika XT is more of a creative effect and it excels. I had it for a couple of years before I got around to using it and I find uses for it in a lot of my tracks. I don't think too hard when I used XT... I just play with it until something cool that works with the track appears. I tend to wear the engineer's hat with Boz when I use it. Just my highly subjective thoughts.

What a morning. I promised myself not to buy more stuff for a while, and what did I see the first thing I opened KVR?!
..Audiothing space strip on sale @ Plugin Boutique. It's one of those relatively cheap plugins (Original $55) that I wanted to buy but I could not motivate myself to pay that money. I simply didn't need it, just wanted it. It seems to be a nice little plugin. Today I got sucked in and ended up buying it for $30. I need to undergo some kind of group therapy for plugin shopaholics

Different characters. Three of them, which is what makes them sweet. You get a Steinway, a Bechstein and a Fazioli. Those are exquisite flavors and the engine is trusted UVI (comes free with the bundle).epiphaneia wrote:I’m already eyeing that dealFleer wrote:Those are some sweet pianos. More information at http://vstbuzz.com/deals/74-off-true-ke ... s-vi-labs/... how would these compare to, e.g. Soniccouture‘s Hammersmith (my current go-to piano)?
