Don't know what I'm doing wrong... I don't remember having this problem before using it with the Minilogue as a controller (midi learn function).

Post

Maybe it's because the Minilogue use the midi cc for the modwheel for another of its knobs? Don't know...

Does it work ok with other plugins?
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

Good question! Never tried! I'll give it a go tomorrow... Thanks!

Post

I'll try with the arturia Prophet V because it's the same architecture...

The modwheel on the screen...is the red triangle next to it set at max? That red triangle sets the minimum modwheel value so if you have it set at 100%, the minimum mod setting will be 100%.

Post

Thanks for the help! Might be it. I was patching on a cheap monitor with weird contrast... I might have messed with this triangle without realizing. I'll check it out tomorrow.

When i drag the plugin to a different track in REAPER to clone it to that track, even if the global effects button was turned off in the original instance, it will be on in the cloned instance.
Unregistered V1.1.
I can confirm I'm seeing it too on registered rev 6634 VST2, though it seems to work fine here on registered rev 6634 VST3.
Yau, thanks guys, can confirm it. It only happens on Windows and only with the VST2 version. It doesn't seem to copy over the global parameters (the ones which are not set per preset but only get saved in the host project). I have filed a bug report.

Not sure what's going on there, Repro seems to behave fine over here when I play with it in Live.
What exactly do you mean with 'the sound is stopping' when you stop the playback of Live?
Does the release phase of the Repro sound get cut off instantly when you play a pad sound with a long release?
Or does the whole plugin stop working, i.e. you suddenly can't play it anymore at all?
And with "host sync is off" you mean the LFO host sync button switches from On to Off whenever you stop playback in Live?

Which operating system do you use?
Which version of Ableton Live?
Are you using the VST2, or the AU version of Repro-5?

Maybe too late or offtopic, because not original, but I wished that:

- There was a second LFO available in the tuning section, or as tabs in the LFO section.

- There were 2 more matrix slots, as tabs in the matrix section

Well, for now we didn't want to make it "verbastelt" aka botched up. We'll see what the future brings, once accuracy is less precious for us.

Awesome synth u-he!! Certainly doesn't disappoint :D
The new browser looks super slick, very nice. :tu:

Regarding the stopping of the sound. I think I know what you mean. But this happens with every plugin I tested. It seems to be a thing Live does. That's nothing we can influence. Maybe there is a preference somewhere inside Live which can change this behaviour? I haven't had the time to check all of Live's settings.

Well, I for one hope that accuracy will always be the main focus of this synth. For people needing more versatility (beyond the limits of the Prophet 5), there's always Diva. And I'm sure some of the technical advancements of Repro will trickle down into Diva.

Personally I don't really see the point here. It still then could emulate the original hardware in 100% accuracy, but also wouldn't have the limitations of the original. You could simply disable LFO2 and modslot 3+4 :hihi: There are no technical reasons for that, only philosophical ones maybe. I thought exactly this was the reason for Repro-5, extending the original capabilities.
