Doesnt look like anyone else is close to doing what you are (except one, but nothing coming in that area) so should be a walk over

strictly a virtual emulation competition......my mistake...

I still think it would be odd to give the same award twice to the same product, only because the concept was made broader.

I wouldn't be worried/miffed/surprised if they omit Repro in their considerations for next year simply because it won this time around.

And of course, if Repro really sets some kind of bar, plenty of developers are welcome to raise it further.

They missed some independent genius emulations like P900.
It‘s all about commercial.
But Repro of course deserve it too.

P900 is also commercial, and it does not emulate any particular synth.

I'm still looking for a list of emulations that happened in the past year. I don't think there were many to pick from, but Repro-1 is still amazing regardless. Hopefully in a couple years that quality will not be the exception but the rule. I was playing with SEM V last night, I was going to sell it, but it kind of blew me away. So imo there are other excellent emulations. What about an Emulator II emulator? Hmm?

It emulates a modular system which exist in hardware plus some extras.
However, it sounds awesome, like Repro does.

But there is no baseline for comparison, it is not like it is a Moog Modular emulation and you can A/B it at all. And again, your point about it not being commercial gets a

Yeah, whatever to your snide "It's all about commercial" too, you were minimizing U-he's success, all while being wrong
