... just a simple set of keyboard commands to edit the pianoroll so that you wouldn't need mouse at all, or at least all the time (in the piano roll). just your computer keyboard and the midi keyboard. (and I mean editing, not recording.)
if T2 would do this well, I'm certain I would buy it.

EDIT: ok, I guess it could be called "step input" or "step record", but I meant that I don't mean "real-time record"
