If you signed up for the Sonible smart:EQ Live pre-release discount you got the following email message today:
Congratulations: Your 50% pre release code has arrived!
And the best of it: If you're quick, you can also take advantage of our reduced introductory pricing (-30%) on top of your 50% voucher.
That's whooping 75% off smart:EQ live!
Is it just me or is it slightly disturbing that a company which develops an AI based smart:EQ can't do the math on percentages correctly?

This is why I love Plugin-Alliance.
They just sent me my monthly $50 voucher and I was able to apply it to bx-subsynth which is currently on sale at $49. So I got it for free.
No hassles. No drama.
They keep building the loyalty with me each and every time I deal with them. Thank you PA.
I think I'll be in the market for your SSL emulation next based on my increasing loyalty.
Thank you again. I'm grateful for you guys and how you take care of us.

When I saw that the coupons weren't sent out with the mailer I assumed that I had just run out of my allocation considering all of the free plugins that I've obtained from them, but nope, I just got my coupon as well.Rational wrote:This is why I love Plugin-Alliance.

Unfortunately, the $4 I just gave them did not bump me up to the next level. Cmon PA, give us back the $9 bangers with the multi-cart discount and I'll throw you a c-note or two over the holidays

Nope. I managed to get access through a VPN but once you VPN'ed into the European Union you get charged VAT which makes the benefit marginal anyway.Chapelle wrote:Day 2: 30% off HALion 6 (I hope that this one is available for everyone)mgw38 wrote:Steinberg Festive Countdown 2017:

Day 1 is a chance to win a merchandise package which is a bit lame. But the rules seem to indicate that future days will have sale items.

Ghetto, I've confirmed with PA's helpdesk that in order to get $50 coupons your 'total spend' as they call it must be $600 iirc, and definitely know it to be $1000 spent in order to begin receiving $75 coupons. You can ask them what your total spend is and they'll confirm for you how much further you've got to go to reach the next level. They did for me at least. They've been awesome to work with via their tickets. Never a hassle, always polite and have honored every request I've given them. I have a warm fuzzy every time I open one of their plugins.
Companies. Model them. They're doing it right. Learn to delight your customers like they are doing and you will do well in the decades to come.

Yeah, I'm SO far from $50, I'm just trying to get to that $35 level which would make a lot of their $49 sale items more compelling.Rational wrote:Ghetto, I've confirmed with PA's helpdesk that in order to get $50 coupons your 'total spend' as they call it must be $600 iirc, and definitely know it to be $1000 spent in order to begin receiving $75 coupons. Oh, I didn't know they had a $35 level. Although I was receiving $35 coupons for awhile. I just assumed it was their default amount for everyone. Why don't you ask them via a ticket for everyone's knowledge? It'd be good to know that for many others here I'd assume.
Edit: And to apply your pricing strategy that you elaborated the other day, it'd probably behoove you to spend a bit to reach that level sooner. That way you'd begin obtaining $35 of value every month thereafter. It adds up nicely over time. In fact, they're helping their customers build wealth as opposed to what others do with their plugin rental programs...

Regarding this month's P.A. vouchers: don't forget, they usually open all the doors of their December specials calendar on Xmas day, so it's worth waiting until then to see all they offer.

Wow. Great post mgw. Good catch. You're right. I don't think they put these on sale ever. Hence why I don't own them!Postby mgw38; Sat Dec 02, 2017 12:40 am
Re: Bargain Center (Bargains ONLY; NO Chat)
Dada Life plugins are 30% off:

I know they are just cheap workarounds for things a skilled producer should be able to do the "correct" way, but I absolutely love them and have them on every track I make. I don't think I've ever seen a sale on these.
If companies want to make sales, they need to offer sales. I think I'll snatch these up finally.
Actually, I hadn't even heard of endless smile. Only the sausage fattener has been on my want list for like a decade or more. But because of their smart discounting, (only $14 more for the second item) I'll probably grab both. They win, I win. Someone's thinking in their marketing department... About time. I'm in.
Oh, waitaminute... who is tailorednoise? Hmmm... is this a let reseller for Dada? I better make sure first.
Edit: Well, that's the link from their main page it seems. Seems legit. Cool.

If you access it through the Dada Life site you need to follow the Endless Smile buy link. It will give you the option to buy Endless Smile, Sausage Fattener or the bundle.Rational wrote:Oh, waitaminute... who is tailorednoise? Hmmm... is this a let reseller for Dada? I better make sure first.
For some reason the buy link for Sausage Fattener goes to a site without a discount.

One of the best if not the best, plus their plugins just sound so wonderful. I look forward to owning them allRational wrote: Companies. Model them. They're doing it right. Learn to delight your customers like they are doing and you will do well in the decades to come.
Those vouchers really do something to the mind, I just feel obligated to use them.

Well, wasn't i being all hasty earlier bemoaning the lack of an immediate voucher email? Even though it was all very light-hearted, i feel i should make up for it by spending more than $4 this month. Guess i'll wait and see what turns up.
