Do you want another example to show why Uncle E is one of the best, if not the best online retailer?
During the Black Friday period, I ordered some stuff from his shop, and my order qualified to get the free Galaxy X-FX. But for a reason unknown, I couldn’t added it for free in my cart. So, I wrote to him about it.
Not only did he gave me Galaxy X-FX, but he also added Roomer for free. That’s customer service above and beyond.
Thanks Eric!!

Fault did it for me this month. I'm gonna hold out on Vocal Enhancer and maybe demo it when i get some time. Hopefully PA will have another of their in-cart vouchers and everything on sale again at the end, if they do i might have to pick up a selection.

Anybody got this? Seems like a good price for a diverse range of vocals.OneOfManyPauls wrote:loopmasters ultimate vocals are on offer - £3.95/$5.35 instead of the usual £45/$60:

I think so - great price if you're coming up from a something that just edges over the €99/$99 product qualifier.MogwaiBoy wrote:T-Racks 5 Max Upgrade around $125 in cart at JRRshop... is this the cheapest it's been?
Checking my emails, I can't see where IKM did this 50% promo for T-R5 Max - Weirdly IKM's December promo explicitly excludes T-Racks Max, which I guess explains why it's not at the other resellers or IKM's own site (maybe it's coming tomorrow and Uncle E has the drop on it):
http://www.ikmultimedia.com/news/news.php?id=947
When they did the pre-order, Peter @ IKM recommended just buying the standard version of T-Racks 5 for existing owners of Max V4+Saturator X (not included in Max V4) as that 5-ified all the v4 plugins (inc rack) and included the 4 new plugins. That was €99 EUR + VAT direct with IKM at the time.Products excluded from this promotion include Ampeg SVX 2, Ampeg SVX 2 Power Duo, T-RackS 5, T-RackS 5 Deluxe, T-RackS 5 MAX & new T-RackS 5 processors.
TR-5 standard doesn't seem discounted at the mo, so I guess that could go lower at some point if that's your best route into Max 5, whereas it'd be a bigger push to discount the max 5 crossgrade/upgrade more than they have right now.

It seems to me if you can upgrade to Max now for $125, waiting would have been the better move, assuming you can live with depriving yourself of a few months of working with those 4 new plug-ins and the updated interface.OneOfManyPauls wrote:MogwaiBoy wrote: When they did the pre-order, Peter @ IKM recommended just buying the standard version of T-Racks 5 for existing owners of Max V4+Saturator X (not included in Max V4) as that 5-ified all the v4 plugins (inc rack) and included the 4 new plugins. Please correct me, if I'm wrong.

I had some IK virtual cash/tokens hanging around, so the pre-order, even with vat, actually cost me less than it would have done with this offer at jrr.

Yeah I was fortunate enough to get Zebra2HZ on the FS forum here for a good deal. I'll check out the Howard Scarr and Khyon soundsets. Thanks for the recommendation!yellowmix wrote:The Dark Zebra is considered a soundset (the patches are very useful and instructional), and you happen to get a Zebra with Diva filters. And if you have Zebra + that, you get Zebra 3 for free.Tappistry wrote:Looks like I have about a month left to decide on something to grab with my u-he survey coupon.
Figure I should get something that can only be purchased through u-he directly ... maybe one of their commercial synth soundsets? Which ones are some favorites around here?
If you already have The Dark Zebra, you can't go wrong with Howard Scarr's soundsets if you want a functional and educational set of presets. If you want something unconventional, check out Khyon's Deform.
Otherwise, listen to the demos, read the descriptions, and get whatever you need/jives with your type of music or skill level needs. Also grab the free Tarot soundset while you're there, it's great.
That Performer soundset by Scarr sounds pretty excellent.

That was gonna be my plan too ... until I bought 3 u-he synths here on the FS forum inside of a week for a killer deal.ATN69 wrote:Which is why I decided to use my 15% discount from u-he to buy the dark Zebra
