Tracktion and MIDI quantise bug

Does this happen to anyone else:

I play a clip in to T via my MIDI keyboard - it's okay but is a bit out of time

So I quantize the clip using the clip quantise (not the 'in track editing' quantise) - it does it fine, except that any notes that are shorter than the quantise value (eg 1/4 beat) are snapped to almost zero - this means that clip suddenly sounds as if it has lost a few notes - the only solution is to go into the clip and relengthen them using the penci, which is a real pain!

Am I doing something wrong, or is this an instance of T not being the perfect host???

Thats just how it works as far as I can tell. Hence I always do "hard" quantisation now a days, where you can do the starts and ends separatly.
