Hello everyone.

It's been a very long time since I've been in here and posted.

However, I thought after reading Jo's mail that there might be some discussion going on so I thought I'd drop in.

This sounds like good news everyone. Regardless of who teams up with whom (why speculate at this stage) this is a clear indication that Jo is working towards securing a future for Muzys.

For all those people who recognise Muzys as a unique and highly productive music-making tool this must be a fantastic announcement.

I - myself - am overjoyed that I'm seeing a concrete sign that my favourite tool is going to continue on.

I imagine that it might be a little while before any official news comes through, but in the meantime I encourage you all to remain positive or, at the very least, not totally negative.

I would also like to thank Jo for creating such a marvellous music-making tool for us and for all the support he has given us in the past.

Regards

First of all, it's great to hear from both of you, Caleb and Jo. It's been a very lonely place here for, well, the past year now. But I digress.

Now we know that Muzys has a future, and that Jo has teamed up with someone else to do it. The waiting has been hard for all of us, but I've gotten really good mileage out of Muzys so far. It seems that at some point, all of our waiting will have paid off. I have no idea what went on on Jo's end over the past year, but I'm sure his actions were all legitimate. I for one am looking forward to the future of Muzys, and exploring other alternatives in the meantime.

Hope everyone's doing well.

Yes - I've been away a long time. I've actually been concentrating on the non-music elements of my life for the last year.

I've also taken up 3D modelling as another creative expression.

My music computer is totally stuffed so no playing with music now anyway - but hopefully I'll be in the position to replace it in the not-to-distant future and start composing again. I've got a few songs in my head that are dying to come out.

I really know nothing of what Jo is planning myself as I've been out of touch with everyone for a long time, but I think the focus is obviously on the perpetuation of Muzys in some form. For me this is great news.

I have played with a couple of other demos over the last year wondering if a time would come when I'd have to replace Muzys. I didn't like Traktion and Massiva has gone the way of the Dodo bird - purchased EnergyXT in case I needed to expand beyond what Muzys was going to offer - nice tool by the way.

But I still find Muzys the best - which would probably not surprise many people who know me.
