Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. Hope you're getting good use of these.
Small update made today to the Extended Browser version: the Oscillator B "Octave" label was incorrectly located (in it's original, non-fixed position).

Thank you: now it's nearly perfect!
Just a detail, but using too many chars for naming these skins will overflow the default skin text field (I guess it's designed to accommodate 20 characters).

Yeah, I noticed that too. You can just rename the folders to something shorter like you did there. Since it's only the preferences screen that truncates the text, and it looks fine in the right click menu, I didn't bother with shortening it. Maybe in the next build.

Or, you can tweak those prefs fields to be wider, by tweaking the Preferences panel elements in the skin script file...

I guess I could try and figure that out. I'm no coder or graphic designer by any means though. I can do so some light graphic adjustments and anything easily accomplished in the built-in skin editor (which I could certainly try here), but if it were making sense of anything in the script file - that'd be beyond my skill level. If it really bothers anyone in the short-term, feel free to make the adjustment and post an updated file.EvilDragon wrote:Or, you can tweak those prefs fields to be wider, by tweaking the Preferences panel elements in the skin script file...
That said, I'm also taking a bit of a wait and see approach with this. Urs indicated in the main thread that the GUI in the next build has been desaturated a bit and darkened a tone, which may make these skins obsolete since that's really all I did anyway. If the new build comes out and I still prefer these GUI's, I'll try to make the update.

I made a request to use a Celtic font on the front panel, my attempt was met with ridicule
so I'm making the request to you, just in case you can do it tastefully and to the liking of other users.
Edit: the fonts Sequential used, for anyone interested, were Stop for their logo, American Unicial for the Prophet logo. Here is my mod of the Black Extended I made for myself:

That would definitely be outside of my skill set and not something I'd be particularly interested in otherwise but if you like your mod, use it! That's the brilliant thing about an easily skinnable plugin like this. We can all make our own variants just for us!braj wrote:I made a request to use a Celtic font on the front panel, my attempt was met with ridiculeso I'm making the request to you, just in case you can do it tastefully and to the liking of other users.

'prophet ~ 5' but that seems to be crossing a line somehow. Gotta give Repro-5 its due.

what is the minimum version of Repro-1?
I am not using the beta that comes with Repro-5 and it is crashing Ableton Live, plus a weird listing which I assume is the preset panel shows on top of the GUI

But then a strange fear gripped me

The minimum build for this is 6634. If you PM your email address I can send you the old version.

Working on a new update. Wanted to ask what others thought in case I've lost all objectivity.
Changes are:
1. Based off the updated GUI (biggest difference is the addition of the word CPU under MCore/HQ)
2. Entirely new Prophet-5 inspired knobs
3. Tried to do my best to offset the huge shadow in the effects section (see the word "Distortion")
Do we like the new knobs? Any other feedback? I spent several hours learning Knobman, hopefully not all for naught.

I'll have to try it on a big screen, but on my phone the knobs look dandy.
