Dang, I'm disappointed in the anthology xi deal. I Was hoping to upgrade to x this year with 4 plugins. I want to say it was only $99 last year so that would of been nice. even if it was $199. Now with 4 plugins its $500 to upgrade to XI lol. No thanks. Even $99 +$150 would of been hell of better. oh well you snooze you lose.

Sort of, it was 99$ if you had 4 plugins. With the usual JRR discount it went down to slightly above 80$. This time, they are requiring you to surrender the plugins though. No possibility to use them again for the next upgrade.Fleer wrote:Didn't the entire Eventide Anthology X bundle go for $80 last year if you had a few of their plugins?

I bought from everyplugin last year to get the ones I used for Anthology. I remember it being a heck of a good deal. They just sent me an email stating I qualified for the one dollar deal. This was after I already bought it for $1.
It still shows Anthology X and all my single plugs. I'm not sure if when I actually authorize it on the iLok the ones used will go away. And it could be until I plug in my iLok, it won't do anything.

So they took my free 2016 Stereo Room, my Ultra Channel that may have been free, and my omnipressor that cost me $23 if I remember correctly, along with Anthology X. They left Blackhole, Quadravox and Precision Time Align. And the EQ thing. So I'm probably good for another update

I think that last year was a right place at the right time kind of thing. A lot of got the free ultrachannel about a year or so earlier and then picked up the free 2016 from focusrite. Eventide was doing quite a bit more promotion to get more market awareness. I think that both the low price and the looseness of last years' upgrade with respect to what qualified was a part of that. They're getting a lot of attention this year and I think that they're trying to capitalize on that.
I think that a lot of us didn't even know that Eventide made plugins when they dropped ultrachannel on us. But they've been developing and releasing and so probably are on more people's radar.
Unfortunately, if you already have four plugins buying more probably won't help and you might want to wait until they have some sort of cash grab sale. It's hard to say whether or not that will happen, however, I think that the "everything bundle" concept does tend to hurt individual plugin sales for those of us who already have the bundle. I'm glad I didn't buy anything new this year. So it's possible people will be hesitant to spend on their new individual plugins this year.

Yep. Exactly. As I shared earlier this month, they're at the top of my goodwill list alongside Plugin-Alliance and a few others based on how well they treated me last year and during every interaction. They're [Eventide] doing it right if their goal is to create customer goodwill.
Others could learn from this............. I'll keep saying it until it sinks in....
For example, I am about to upgrade my Anthology X to XI for $1 dollar.
O.N.E. Dollar.
My Purchase Options *
Anthology XI Upgrade from Anthology X + 3 Plugins for $1.00
Give up your Anthology X, UltraChannel Native, 2016 Stereo Room, and Blackhole licenses and get an Anthology XI license. You will still be able to use your Anthology X, UltraChannel Native, 2016 Stereo Room, and Blackhole licenses with your Anthology XI license.
(Very clear stipulations. No need for me to struggle to understand or have to call someone to understand or assume incorrectly. Not that hard.)
Now that's how you build goodwill for your hardware by using your plugins as a VERY smart loss leader. Plugins as we know are really mostly toys compared to hardware fixed costs of manufacturing. The pricing on these plugins are WAY overdone for 95% of them out there. For those companies selling hardware, or beginning to sell hardware, this is a very smart way to build goodwill in the market that leads to satisfied hardware purchasers down the line. That's what Focusrite has done with their plugins for me via freebies and add-ons to the hardware I buy. Win/win. Smart.
Thank you Eventide for being awesome.

All done. So simple. I've got a warm fuzzy.
That's the customer experience we all should be given.
So I got some nice additions with this. MangledVerb, TVerb Full, Fission.
I had a hunch, so didn't buy Fission or Mangled Verb earlier.
Based on this, I am feeling less like I need to continue struggling to purchase from other vendors. I think I'll just stick with the ones that are showing me they care about me like Eventide, PA and Focusrite, et al.
Grateful.

UA's SpecOps on offer today for $79 from PA. Even if I hadn't already blown my voucher, I don't think I'd go for $50ish, but I'd still like to hear from any satisfied customers. Any takers?

Hi Guys! As a pauper with GAS I have gotten so many deals from this thread. I just thought people should know that Kilohearts is releasing a new EQ, Slice EQ on Thursday.SolarAxix wrote:Anyone else got the Kilohearts deals over Black Friday/Cyber Monday? (Multipass $49 and kHs Toolbox $99 ($149 for both))
I got both thinking it was the cheapest way to get to their complete "The Works" offering, but JRR has The Works on sale for $152.15 in the cart ($150.36 if you use the "group" discount code and the advertised price is $179).
I emailed KH support and if you buy now, it is not included in The Works. But if you wait until Thursday Dec 14th, Slice EQ is included.

Now, curious if Uncle E can confirm that The Works price will hold until Thursday, December 14th?

Yeah, while I like UA's stuff, they're not $50 plugins, for me.telecharge wrote:UA's SpecOps on offer today for $79 from PA. Even if I hadn't already blown my voucher, I don't think I'd go for $50ish, but I'd still like to hear from any satisfied customers. Any takers?

Well, I noticed that the Works $150 price disappeared a day or two ago. So I'm also curious if they bring it back here with this new release. It'd be smart for them to. I see kilo hearts as a 4th tier vendor at this point name wise. Climbing though to possibly 3rd tier the longer they stick around. So their pricing needs to be dirt cheap for everything until they become an established name. Just like Slate had to do for years. I'm curious at $150 but probably won't pull the trigger on their works package until it's down to $99.wfm wrote:Hi Guys! As a pauper with GAS I have gotten so many deals from this thread.
