Agreed. As with a 'free lunch' there is no such thing as a software freebie so it makes sense to consider whether you really really need something before installing it. I learned the hard way with my last PC grinding slower and slower and then not being able to find the cause. :dog:

Also, for utility programs, its worth checking if there is a portable version, portables tend to be far less intrusive. This site is a great (if you are on PC): https://portableapps.com/apps

No, this time you also get additional discounts on personal upgrade offers in your account. There is also an additional discount on the Pro-L 2 upgrade. I have been waiting for that one.
Yeah the new L2 looks nice.

I’m a potential new customer. I know I want Pro Q2, Pro L2, and Pro MB at least. They seem like they could replace a lot of other less advanced mixing/mastering plugins in my collection. Trying to decide on which bundle for maximum value to start with.

As I'm doing the math, the price per plugin in the bundles clearly decreases as the bundles get bigger. Though I don't necessarily want to buy an enormous bundle of their plugins before I know I need them yet. :borg:

They have demo versions of all of them. Plenty of time to test 'em out first.

Well, shoot! I grabbed the Toontrack Country Drums midi thing over at Time & Space, but now I see JRRShop has it cheaper. Okay, it is only $1. last year, it was cheaper there because of the no VAT. I will have to shop around tomorrow. :dog:

I'm only seeing the usual 5% extra discount, which really makes no difference to me.

I could be wrong but from what I remember they have a 25% additional discount to the personal upgrade offer for Pro-L2 if you already own Pro-L1. During this sale they added another 5%.

Hey guys how is that Elysia Alpha Compressor? I see musicradar gave it 5 stars and it's tempting at this price. Let me know what you think. Thanks

I don't have it (yet...) but if any of the other Elysia or PA stuff is an indication, it is probably pretty good!

I've had my eye on that one, too.

FWIW, Michael Costa uses it this Groove3 series: https://www.groove3.com/tutorials/Build ... x-Template

I'm not sure where it's first introduced, but I think Tutorial 24 or 25.

They added 5% yes, but where does the 25% come in? Surely every dev have a discount for upgrading v1 to v2. Actually I wouldn't even classify that as discount. That's just an upgrade price.

Harry_HH wrote:I can confirm this Vintage effects issue (WIn 10).
Harry_HH wrote: BTW, the Vintage effects sound surprisingly good.
Cant help but wondering how can you tell when they don't process audio until activated???

Humble bundle replied that I should contact Magix.
Magix replied earlier today:
"The MAGIX Vintage Effects Suite is registered and activated using a Magix Pro Audio account. This is separate from your standard Magix account.
You can create/login to your Pro Audio account via the link below:
https://www.magix.com/ap/mandants/servi ... de&lang=en
To circumnavigate any activation issues, please log into the Pro Audio account and manually register your serial number (by selecting the option 'Register Product'). "

Done per instructions, activated in there but same issue with vsts, nothing changed.
If someone else is having similar problems (I think Im not alone) contact them.

I tried all suggestions mentioned after my initial comment, thanks guys. It didn't work but at least I know that I tried
