Hi, I'm presently running the demo.
El Capitan 10.11.6 here, with Logic Pro X 10.3.2 on an iMac Retina 5K end of 2015 (3.3 GHz Intel Core i5 quad-core).
I can confirm that the demo is running with no problems at all, except a bug that has already been reported here in this topic: I cannot type keywords in the search text field (the fields are blocked and remain empty and the keystrokes are intercepted by Logic).

I can also confirm that the CPU use values are sensibly lower with respect to Breeze 1, which I own.
I observe some occasional CPU spikes only in the exact moment when I am switching from one preset to another, especially if audio is running.
It seems to me that, even using the "Old 1.0 Factory" presets, they sound more detailed in Breeze 2.0, do you agree?
My first impression is that this is a very useful, beautiful reverb!

We can do SSE for 64bit hosts.

We are 64-bit only on OSX already, so this does not mean anything new on OSX -- except for the fact that YES, we can support SSE.

It would mean the only thing we don't support is 32-bit Windows hosts running on SSE (non-AVX) CPUs. I think that is a reasonable compromise? How many people using SSE-machine find they still need 32-bit hosts? 32-bit win hosts would still be available for AVX, so AVX machines are unaffected.

We can probably have this online in 8-10 hours or so.... well, maybe more even more immediately...

No horse in this race here, but... i'd assume that 32-bit would be more of a thing on computers which only support SSE, simply because it's older, and older hardware might still run 32-bit OS's. Is that a reason to pack work into supporting that also? I don't think so. If it was for me, plugin developers wouldn't have to support 32-bit at all anymore. It's deprecated, and it's also not popular. Nevermind loners on the net, who will always tell you that it is an absolute necessity to still support 32-bit. There are figures, and those figures say that the least of people are using Windows 10 32-bit, for example.

I do.

correction: the minimum now is not SSE but SSE3, we could technically explore going down to SSE2 support, even SSE if there are requests from people but SSE3 already covers majority of cpus. and I think with some efforts it's possible to make it work on 32-bit systems but 32-bit systems are getting obsolete now.

given that sse3 dates back to the 2004 generation of intel cpus I’d hope no-one is still using a sse2 cpu!!

Your CPU is too old and doesn't support AVX, which is a requirement for this pre-release:
A CPU with AVX Instructions is required for Breeze 2.0 during the Pre-Release.

OS-X version?
OS Sierra. Do I need to upgrade to High Sierra?

Ok my first 2C audio purchase :)

I am a bit concerned about the limited number of downloads. This is pretty much the reason I have never purchased
anything prior. Why don't you use google drive or something. I trust that this limit can be circumvented if the need should arise.

Great job btw...
