Urs, Repro5 is so good you should do a dedicated Roland JUPITER-6 next..

Urs,
You've exceeded the vsti industries analog emulation abilities.
Setting a new benchmark! Congrats to you and your team for outstanding work.
Since you own a Jupiter-6, how about reworking the Jupiter-6 code in Diva and creating a true "repro"duction of the Jupiter-6?
No one has done that yet.

thanks
Chris

Not going to happen that soon. u-he is tired of doing analog emulations for the moment, they want to do original designs now. Zebra 3 is next. And then after some time (about 2 years from now, Urs said somewhere), we might see The Cat emulation.

There are much better Poly choices than the Jupiter-6 IMO. Super Jupiter, Jupiter 4, Voyetra 8, Synthex, Rhodes Chroma, Korg PS series, Oberheim Xpander, etc. But as Mario points out Zebra development and perhaps the Ocatve Cat 2 seems to be up for 2018. The strongest features of the Jupiter 6 IMO is the Unison detune feature and ability to create high freq sounds. The later being something U-he synths like Diva and Zebra already do well.

As much as i enjoy Repro-5 i wish Uhe spent that time working on Zebra 3.

I also would like to see more stuff that is not an emulation.

Also, the drum machine project seems way more exciting, definitely not much competition there.

Another reason for Urs not doing the Jupiter 6 soon is the fact that the modules are alraedy included in Diva.
This includes dedicated filter and envelope modules for Jupiter 6 ("multimode" filter and "digital" envelopes) and also the Jupiter Osc module ("Dual VCO" module) is a mix of Jupiter 8 and Jupiter 6 features.
For example you got the waveform switches to use more than one waveform at the same time in one oscillator. This was possible with Jupiter 6 but not in Jupiter 8.

TX Ingo, I did not know that, learn something new every day.

Check out the Templates folder in Diva for more.

Diva has the Jupiter territory covered already.

We don't need any more analog emulations.

Let's see Zebra3 instead, and that U-He drum synth...if it has a sequencer attached,

RePro-5 is state of the art, for sure. I love it...but I love Bazille more. It does more, it's fresher, more exciting, and far more challenging. Apples and oranges, for sure: but in terms of future u-he development, I'd like to see more Zebra and Bazille level material, and less over-familiar brand names recreated.

I'm on the fence about this, but I'm leaning toward agreeing with you - because new territory is waiting somewhere...I'm sure. There's got to be new ways to organize sound.

I am sooo in line for a Zebra3, too, when it's ready. :) Also the drum machine. The video demo I saw awhile ago had me instantly sold.

Probably the thing that I hope the most for is that the improvment in filter audio-mod that we have seen with RePro will translate to most if not all U-He synths. I absolutely love how RePro filter reacts to AudioMod. The sound is gorgeous.

Off-topic a bit, but to get a sense of what I mean, compare how the Legend filter reacts to audio mod with Monark's filter (and possibly DIVA, but I do not have it anymore). Legend's filter keeps being musical while the others start to porduce digital noise (no better words for this).
