If you get a crash log email us.

Version number Is still labeled as 2.0.0. Build number is now 163 which is shown on the info page of the GUI but if you are getting a crash before seeing that you wouldn't know that. :)

pm your Mac serial number so we can look up
Exactly what CPU it is. Maybe our CPU detection code misidentifies some CPUs or something. That'd prob be an easy on to fix if true.

I'm gonna round up an older Mac Pro later today and see what I can find.

With older systems. We will figure them out don't worry.
I have Breeze 1 and would like to buy Breeze 2 but the demo is crashing my daw (Ableton Live 9 and 10 beta) when I try to add it.
My comp is an early 2009 Mac pro - can I expect Breeze 2 to work in the future?
Thanks

I've sent in a crashlog - the new version totals Live 9 on my Mac Pro, also an early 2009 (2x 2.26GHz Nehalem) model. The previous build (AVX only) got to the "your processor isn't new enough" dialogue, showing a CPU ID of 6, IIRC.

Yes of course. I am setting up a Mac Pro of that era as we speak to do some tests...

2011 MBP (SandyBridge CPU) running El Capitan. Demo worked a couple of days ago, full version installed today crashes both Logic & Live. Have sent crash report via your website.

I suspect mine is SandyBridge too

I'm running on a 2008 Mac Pro now (SSE Xeons). I get a CPU-detection error dialog from an older version of Cubase (7.5), which gives a rather large clue... (as I had hypothesized earlier). If it's just this, it should be a quick fix. We'll see...

I'll install Win on this machine also to check as well...

hopefully we can still have a nice Christmas present for everyone who is waiting. :tu:

If you want to know, run this in terminal> sysctl -n machdep.cpu.brand_string
Then you can look up processor online & it will tell you :)

Thanks - you'd think it would be in system info - everything else is (eg GPU is listed but not CPU)

Anyway it appears to be this one:

Great news!
Thanks very much :)

We have now replaced both OSX and WIN version DEMOs with SSE (3 and higher) compatible versions. I just used the SSE version without issue in Cubase 9.5 on OSX.10.10, as have a few others (on various OS/hosts). Let's see how it does for the rest of you.

We have replaced the FULL/PAID versions in the the web store as well, so if you need SSE you can redownload. Your download count has already been automatically reset.
I tried to use the updated FULL/PAID version on a Windows 7 PC with a i7 980x CPU but no luck:

- 64-bit VST 2 version not loading in FL Studio 12.5 64-bit
- 64-bit VST 2 version crashes Synapse Orion 8.6 64-bit when loaded
- 64-bit VST 2 version does not work with JBridge (which I would need if no 32-bit for SSE)
- 32-bit VST 2 version still gives the CPU error message

Still some work to do before the final release...
