Hmmm

this is what showed up in my account...
one of them is the mde-x

although now I notice they say pending.

but for sure I know I didn't have to reauthorize any of those I already had installed on PC or Mac (or if it needed to do so it did it silently in the background without user input).

'repurchase' the ones I have on korg.shop and used the codes..... it charged me nothing, but I had to go thru like if I am purchasing.... it then sent me an email and automatically assigned/registered them in my korg.shop account...........without me having to install them on the computer.
I did the same thing and only those I've installed on this system showed up. It had no Korg plugins before this morning.

I'll look into it further, perhaps I'm missing a stop.

One problem I'll run into is since the Korg plugins did allow custom install location in the past they are currently in my custom VST folder. If I install these updates and they install in another folder I'll end up have two .dlls for each plugin. Not a big deal but do I manually uninstall the old versions or simply delete the old .dlls or..... :?

Oh well first world problems. I'll wait as hopefully the installer will be fixed to once again allow custom location.

EDIT: Nope only the plugins I've installed so far show up. Apparently I don't have the "Collection" I only have most of the individual plugins. Is the Korg Shop a soft license manager ? :?

Don't you start. The guy has been a total dick all through the thread. Meh.
No he hasn't. He's been very helpful.

Thanks @thecontorlcentre and @ED....
@egbert101....... to me your posts about the 30 minutes and the one with the capital letters at someone who was trying to help you came off as being entitled.....Like somehow Korg and kvr users need to help you because your time somehow is more precious than the rest of us..... all the info you requested were already in the thread and the thread was only a few pages at that point.
If indeed that was not your intent. I apologize .
and merry xmas or merry f%$$#$ xmas, whichever one puts you in the Holiday Season. :)

:-)
that was from my korg.shop account online... I suspect yours was from your computer.
But I think you said you didn't have Korg installed on your current computer. I did.
Which would explain why you would have to authorize everything and I wouldn't.
Sorry, I should have been clearer. I was using the assumption you were just upgrading not installing.

AFAIK, the new versions are only x64, no more x86...
Have you checked the version numbers on those x86 plugins?
Why are x64 versions being installed in the Program Files (x86) directory? :hihi:
Not here. Here (Windows 7) it installed in Program Files (which is where I also have installed the KLC, and the plug-in was installed in C:Program Files /VstPlugIns (which is my directory, so maybe I am just lucky for following general rules).

No sign of any x86 plug-in. BTW - I just installed ARP Odissey, nothing else, because I follow the classic rule of thumb - if it aint broke...

But the entire collection became registered, since there is a common serial for all of it.

AND the Legacy Cell is there to download too, although a link didn't came with the e-mail. People should check your profile in the new Korg site, and see what's there. Check "Registered Products" (only works after installing and authorizing, because it isn't registered before).

No please don't apologize, I appreciate the help. I'm being a bit thick this morning I guess. Apparently Korg ID is different from My Account or Dashboard. I did finally find the dashboard and it does show pending on all the plugins not yet installed or updated.

I installed a couple on this system that I don't use on the studio computer just to see how it went. I'll be upgrading M1 and Wavestation on the studio computer but think I'll wait a bit to see if the installer is fixed.

Sometimes it's better not to be on the bleeding edge. :hihi:

Okay, I'm totally confused. When I originally got the Legacy Collection, in addition to the LGC Code, I got individual codes for each product. This time, all I got was the main collection code. I did not get a code for each product. So when I install one of these, which I dread doing, what do I enter in when it asks me to verify? I'm sure the main code isn't going to work for each individual instrument.

IT IS - Read above. Actually, the registering process is much simpler. Seems a simple "call home" and... BAM!

My Gadget Le "order" from back when it launched still shows as "pending". Maybe this happens with free orders.

Once you authorise your first KLC plugin with the new authoriser they'll all show up in your new Korg account with installers (even LegacyCell). Also that one code will activate the collection as a whole so you won't need to authorise any other plugins you install.

Not sure about whether to go for the Odyssey. Even with the discount, it's half what I paid to upgrade M1 Le to the full collection.

Post

Well, it doesn't matter now anyway. I tried to go look up my order status and it took me to an error page and now when I try to access the Korg site from anywhere, I get the same error page.

So screw this.

Post

Only disappointment. ARP Odissey is monophonic only :dog: What are they thinking?
