The ARP Odyssey plugin has a "Voice Assign" switch at the upper left. This offers "Mono", "Legato", "Duo" and "Poly" settings. Polyphony is adjustable between 1 and 16 voices.Teksonik wrote:Didn't Ingo just post that it's 16 note Polyphonic if you wish ?fmr wrote:Only disappointment. ARP Odissey is monophonic onlyWhat are they thinking?
Unison has betwen 1 and 16 voices too and has additional "Detune" and "Spread" controls/faders.
As mentioned earlier with poly mode the CPU use could be quite high.

Finally got past the error page. Installed everything. Only had to enter package code for first VST pulled up. Rest were all auto registered, so all in all not too bad.
Now we'll see how many years it takes for Korg to increase those GUI sizes.
I'm not holding my breath.

Thanks for the info. I'm in the same boat about the upgrade. I think I did the M1LE upgrade to KLC for about $60 ... so $49.99 is a lot to upgrade. I do like the demos of the Odyssey I've heard so far ... hmmmsprnva wrote:My Gadget Le "order" from back when it launched still shows as "pending". Maybe this happens with free orders.
Once you authorise your first KLC plugin with the new authoriser they'll all show up in your new Korg account with installers (even LegacyCell). Also that one code will activate the collection as a whole so you won't need to authorise any other plugins you install.
Not sure about whether to go for the Odyssey. Even with the discount, it's half what I paid to upgrade M1 Le to the full collection.

Let's say it'll happen in 2018. Place your bets, everyone!wagtunes wrote:Now we'll see how many years it takes for Korg to increase those GUI sizes.

It's not like they have to start making new high resolution artwork.EvilDragon wrote:Let's say it'll happen in 2018. Place your bets, everyone!wagtunes wrote:Now we'll see how many years it takes for Korg to increase those GUI sizes.

Good to know because my iOS version has only 8 voices and the unison (when detuned) sounds really massive without thinning out. I wonder how that sound with 16 voices then.fmr wrote:Up to 16Cinebient wrote:Isn‘t it 8 voices?

My thinking is the GUIs will be redone from scratch, either vectorial, or using assets from Gadgets/iOS versions.T-CM11 wrote:It's not like they have to start making new high resolution artwork.EvilDragon wrote:Let's say it'll happen in 2018. At least the Odyssey looks exact like the iOS version....which is nice. I hope Korg added double click (or whatever) to default value since they "forget" that in the iOS version which is not funny if i try to go back in tune after changing the pitch f.e.EvilDragon wrote:My thinking is the GUIs will be redone from scratch, either vectorial, or using assets from Gadgets/iOS versions.T-CM11 wrote:It's not like they have to start making new high resolution artwork.EvilDragon wrote:Let's say it'll happen in 2018. Why will "korguser.net will be shut down eventually"?EvilDragon wrote:korguser.net will be shut down eventually. Do it before it's too late.

This thread lives up to KVR standard. 13 pages in and we're still discussing how to migrate and install the plugins. It's worse than the usual Waves threads.
Took me 5 minutes to create Korg shop account and move everything over and get it running.

I can't get past the repeated error page. I'm glad to hear that someone was able to. Their servers were obviously not prepared for this, although I can't imagine that they are being hit with tons of traffic but who knows. Guess I'll wait until late tonight and try again. Until they update the GUI's there isn't much interest for me as well.wagtunes wrote:Finally got past the error page. Installed everything. Only had to enter package code for first VST pulled up. They're migrating servers and accounts to a different scheme and it seems that korguser.net back-end isn't compatible with that...felis wrote:Why will "korguser.net will be shut down eventually"?EvilDragon wrote:korguser.net will be shut down eventually. Do it before it's too late.

If you didn't have a korguser account then you have nothing to worry about, just make a new Korg ID account and go from there.
