I would add: log into the old platform and take note of the links and the coupon codes now, so you don't have to worry about being unable to get them later (I think they are going to keep the old site online for a reasonable time - I expect a few months at least - but it makes me feel better to know that the coupons are saved on my computer).beely wrote:Guys, just stop trying until after the holidays, I’m sure they will fix their servers. They won’t be shutting the old platform down in a matter of weeks, so you’ll be able to get everything authorised in due time.
In the meantime, relax and enjoy the holidays...

Still can't get past the errors on the site
This is just pathetic.
If you have requests for Korg VST features or changes, they are listening at https://support.korguser.net/hc/en-us/requests/new

Yep and for such a big company like KORG even more. Sad but true..braj wrote:Still can't get past the errors on the siteThis is just pathetic.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Yes I'm using the 64 bit version of live, my C:\Program Files\vstPlugins\KORG\ is empty...egbert101 wrote:Are you using the 64 bit version of Live? I assume it doesn't recognize 32 bit versions. Anyway, the 64 bit versions are in the following folder:rebelxd wrote:So i just got the polysix while its on sale, but i cant for the life of me get it to show up in Ableton Live.. is there some trick to this?
Ive tried installing it all over, copying the /Korg plugin folder to my custom VST folder.. nothing works...
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
C:\Program Files\vstPlugins\KORG\
Now I used Reaper, and all I did was copy the .dll files over to the new folder and they were recognized fine. You may have to rescan your VST folder again in Live.
I hope someone else here uses Live and can conform that it works the same way.
So why is it only installing the 32 bit version :/
Any other suggestions?

Did some further tests. It is specific to Nuendo on PC..... Komplete Kontrol and Studio one Pro on this PC behave better and comparable to their versions on the mac, but on PC.... Nuendo behaves much worse than Cubase on a much less spec mac.fmr wrote:Is this just with Odissey, or you observe the same with all plug-ins?zvenx wrote:What I am observing is that on my macbook pro quad core 2.8 Ghz 2014 I am getting better asio load that on my Windows 10 hexa core 4.5Ghz computer...... maybe the time spent on ios has made Korg better adapted at optimising for mac than windows?

Yeah, what a total cluster<rhymes-with-luck>! But what incredibly poor choice of the date on which to release this. Got the email yesterday and today it's two days before Christmas. The Korg web support team must be *really* thrilled with the management's decision to roll this out right now.murnau wrote:Yep and for such a big company like KORG even more. It's beyond belief that users are still experiencing issues with migration and the Korg shop. The shop issues may be down to magento.com, but where is Korg in all this? There doesn't even seem to be anyone responding to issues flagged on social media. Shockingly bad management.
On the plus side, I'm loving Odyssey

There just isn't any option for 32/64, or specification for VST folder..
I've spent way too long on this, its ridiculous. I kind of just want a refund and say F it at this point.

The 32 and 64 bit plugins are placed in two different folders. The problem is, the installer only shows the path for the 32 bit plugins but doesn't for the 64 bit so you have to search for them. But they are there.rebelxd wrote:There just isn't any option for 32/64, or specification for VST folder..

purely out of interest, yesterday I took a glance at Korg FB page just to see if they "ever care at all".
it was 40 questions and concerns in comments section at that particular moment, with customers going mad because of glitchy servers and PITA migration experience, and only ONE reply from Korg. and that was regarding upgrade price for existing KLC users question, to which they replied "we don't know yet, but we will tell", though I believe it was already told it's 49$. if you own KLC, you buy Odyssey and get your Korg Collection upgrade with it. at least that's what was written in migration instruction posted yesterday.
after this one reply given ten hours ago from the moment I visited their page, Korg "has left the building", completely ignoring all sorts of customer concerns.
they are Korg
