Hey Rational. If you're still here, all the best. It's been a pleasure having you join in with our festive consumerism.

I'll probably give it another week or so before i take a bit of a step back too. Ableton 10 is gonna clear my budget for software for a few months at least.

While we are in the spirit of things though, I offer a big thank you to everyone for sharing so many great deals. Since our resident bargain-hunter has seemingly gone AWOL, it has been good to see everyone else chipping in and keeping these two main threads active.

My plan is to not look here on the board for the next 3 years. Use what I already have, and save my pennies. Had I not spent the $200,000+ I've spent on studio equipment and software in the last 20 years, I could have already had rental income property or been a bitcoin millionaire if I'd invested it like I started doing originally. Hindsight is 20/20. But I guess I've got a great studio full of nice gear and software (that's aging) and it was fun at least.

Anyway. Thanks guys. It's been fun. Time to solely make music and stop looking.

Got any thoughts about the $1 W.A Productions plugs? They're incredibly simple, and obviously aimed at EDM newbies, but, y'know a compressor is a compressor, a saturator is a saturator and so on. Thinking about getting them for my son-in-law, who's just starting out, though he'll be doing black metal...
