Can the Big 4 sequencers become 5 to 7?

samplitude is next, perhaps tracktion 2.

Magix (the makers of Samplitude) was suppose to be for PC what Logic use to be. I don't understand what well wrong on the marketing side. But excluding the price tag, Samplitude should have been next right before Tracktion or Live.

Yes, they counted Tracktion as number 4 and Reason as number 5

That's bollocks! FL and ORION probably have at least as big a feature-set as traditional sequencers and these days the overlap is about 90% or better. If FLstudio has a focus its on obscure workflow.

So far all your research has proven is that it's easy to start a flame war over Host/Sequencers. Anyone who has been a member of KVR for even a short while could have told you that without a poll. If you're looking for advice on which app would be best for your needs you should present the question in that form or better yet try the demos and see what works best for you. 2) I trying to understand the software of the future of music production (so far, it looks like Live or soft studios in general).

Come on Tek, BONES will never need mine or anyones help in provoking controversy. Beside, he love Orion as much as I love FL Studio. And BONES' killer synths works perfectly in both of our respected soft studios.

At the time of typing (3:22am CST) 45% of the voters said that Live is the software that will make this "The Big 5".
