They haven't said. Could be a week, could be a year. I'd guess, probably at least a few months before it stops working, as a sensible precaution to migrating a sizeable user base across.
legendCNCD wrote:I'd like to be hassle free when updating... migrating the stuff. We use MS-20 A. LOT.
So do it now. ;)

I haven´t decided yet what to do with the Arp Odyssey upgrade coupong. Is the plugin worth?
But what I know, is that Korg emulations Polysix and Mono/Poly are one of the best sounding synths in the market. 8)

I got a response from Korg support letting me know that even though I have a receipt for a Legacy Collection license apparently I don't own THE Bundle so no upgrade deal for me. :?

So in summary I have paid for every one of their old plugins except for Mono/Poly and paid for the 64 bit update and I would be paying the same for the Arp Odyssey as someone who has never spent a penny at Korg.

Oh well if the M1 and Wavestation get some update love I'll be happy. If I have to pay another upgrade fee I'll have to make the decision then whether or not I want to send any more money to Korg.

After you migrate your account, if you have Legacy Cell associated with your account, it will be available in the following link:

https://id.korg.com/users/registered-products
Before or after you authorize your "new" purchases? I haven't yet installed and authorized my five plugins and there's no indication of Cell in my registered products page. Have I lost license to it by having my license somehow changed from Legacy Collection to individual products?

This sounds like what my situation is. Damn. So I guess I lack license to Legacy Cell now, too.

Your migrated licensies wont show in the above link before you have installed and authorized these. If you have the Korg (Legacy) bundle, you need auhtorize just one plugin of the bundle.

This has been answered several times. YOU HAVE TO INSTALL AND AUTHORIZE first. Only after that the plug-ins will appear in your Registered Products, and then you will have also Legacy Cell.

I love the odyssey so for me it was worth it :)
It sounds so juicy and Unison is the best unison i have heard :)
It still has some growing pains with slow graphics when moving sliders with the mouse and high cpu usage but the cpu usage can be lowered by setting the poly to 6-8 voices.

The behavior and cpu consumption reminds me of the first versions of Roland Jp8 which are fixed now so i hope it will be further optimized soon.

Korg Support rep kindly told me that the only app featuring “export function” is M1.
I don’t know if connecting ipad to pc to rip the app folder as I do qualifies as export function. :scared:

Same with me man - I have very plugin except the M1, bought the first bundle because there was no other way to purchae, paid for the Universal Binary update, and I have all their Gadget iOS apps as well, the iOS versions of Wavestation, MonoPoly, ARP. Like you, I have to pay the same amount for the ARP as someone who never spent a penny. Put a real bad taste in my mouth.

I'm pretty sure THIS has not been answered several times. I was asking about Legacy Cell in specific, and i did not have the Legacy Collection license coupon. I had coupons for individual plugins. Since i never bought the Mono/Poly, i no longer have what Korg considers the Collection product. So the question I'm asking is, does that also now mean i no longer have a license to Legacy Cell? If I DO, and it appears after registering the installed new downloads, then great. I'm planning to boot to El Capitan later today to find out, but I'm discussing it here with people who might have already dealt with exactly this scenario.

I upgraded to the full Legacy Collection from M1 LE, but I have the coupon for the Arp Odyssey Upgrade (it's on a separate page: I have two orange buttons in my user area, one for each coupon).

I think you should contact Korg Support if your user area shows only the migration coupon.
Thankyou, from what I see (your screenshot) it seems that my MDE-X and Legacy Cell not registered is the problem...
They were missing in my registered products and there is any way it let me now register them:
even if I put the serial codes the system asks for locking codes that de-installing and re-installing those plugins don't show up because those plugins are already authorized on this machine. :x
The Upgrade Coupon tab is there but it's empty... no coupon code given inside.
This migration thing really sucks...

You are entitled to Legacy Cell as soon as you have both MS-20 and Polysix, since those two are the only ones that work with Legacy Cell. It has nothing to do with MonoPoly. And again, as soon as you register these two, you'll most likely also have Legacy Cell in "Registered Products" there to download as well.

In my case, I have the complete Legacy Collection, since I bought the original Legacy Collection, then Legacy Digital, then MonoPoly. But Legacy Cell came with the first bundle (which also included Wavestation, that's why it was called just Legacy Collection) although it didn't work with WS, just MS-20 and Polysix. When MonoPoly came out nothing changed.

I bought Odyssey, and that's the only one I installed so far (the others, I kept the old installation for now). However, since I already registered that one, and because the serial is for the current complete Korg Collection, I already have ALL OF THEM registered, and the downloads include Legacy Cell. I wrote this days ago (I guess it is on the first pages of the thread, before the psicodrama of the migration started).

EDIT: Here is my first post about this matter: viewtopic.php?f=1&t=496920&p=6964386#p6964386 - maybe you should read the first pages of the thread, just before the psicodrama started. That's where some information was actually given. Then, people started whining, and pages and pages were filled that way.

Where’s that crackhead that was saying the Korg sounds nothing like an ARP and is not impressive?
You know that the ARP in the vid is the KORG version, not the original Odyssey?
Yes, I know that, but I don't care. They sound close enough and the plugin sounds fantastic. I wouldn't be able to distinguish between them, or a vintage Odyssey most likely, on a track if you asked me.

Actually also in my Korg ID a downloadable Legacy Cell is missing...
and I have MS-20 and Polysix reinstalled and authorized with the new system and listed with the other three synths (M1, WS and Mono/Poly).
MDE-X is missing on my side because it's not listed as registered in my User Net Account and I can't find a way to register it again without a lock code. So no migration coupon for it.
Maybe MDE-X is the problem happening to Jace-BeOS?

What's the User Net support mail address, please? I can't find it anywhere on User net pages?
