You can add them as a foe and hide their responses, but you can't outright block them. You have to use self discipline and ignore them. Use the force! It is up to you to police your own mind.
Time and energy is too precious to spend trying to ignore people in this context. I have to use it daily to ignore people I can’t avoid in the real world. But I get your point.

I thought to buy the iOS versions of MS-20 and Arp Odyssey but the audio from my iPad is so low with a lot of noise! I don't know, maybe the cables or !!
Anyway, I canceled everything, but in the end I watched a demo for iOS Odyssey and couldn't resist! So, I bought the desktop version for $69 which I consider a great bargain for such a great synth.

Now, just two notes about the desktop version. First, why the hell the GUI is not large enough with big fonts?!! It is little bit better from the old plugs, but still the fonts are not that clear. Did I miss something?
Second is some presets are bringing my cpu to its knees! when I checked it is 16 voices with 16 unison! Well, in normal use it is rare reaching 30% so always watch the "Voices" section.

It is another masterpiece in modern emulations of a famous analogue sound. The Arpeggiator (or sequencer) is a great addition. Now that is taking this synth to the highest level IMO :) I wished there is something like that in Diva or other emulations.

I already considered Legend and RePro a no brainer for $99, and this for $69 is much more no brainer than the first two ;) I wish they could update the filters and other modules in their other analogue emulations, that would be super! :hihi:
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.

Yeah, I was getting sick Jimi Hendrix sort of stuff out of that yesterday, it is really great. I don't know how anyone that likes synths couldn't find some joy in this synth. I think it was a steal @$50.

The only thing holding me back from getting the ARP is I already had it on iPad and it is great but not sure if I need the desktop version too - although it may be convenient it is less essential. Also I ended up buying 2 things in the SonicCouture sale. However if the current price is just an intro price that will rise at some point that may make me rethink this approach - anyone know? (and if so when?)

Well, the Korg shop calls the $70 price a 'special price' ie. on special? and normally $100. I don't know if the $50 offer is a limited time thing.

Edit: actually I think it is limited time only, they have a sale on, and they show Gadget for Mac half off right now.

I think the intro is (like the sale of Gadget and the Collection) valid until the end of January.
I still want Odyssey too since i think it‘s really in a league with Repro and some others.
While i normally record it just into Logic without loss of sound if you use the usb to lightning it would of course better as plug-in.
And since i played now a lot again with it on my phone (i mean such a DSP on a freaking phone) i‘m sure to say this unsion sounds blows even Repro out of the water. Not so the FX but as said, the arp is a nice extra since you can modulate parameters with it.
If i know could get Zeeon as plug-in i could have the holy 4 analog monsters which for me are
P900, Repro, Arp Odyssey and Zeeon.
Everything else sounds tame :D

The add says "apps and software on sale", but as far as I can see, mainly iOS are on sale (?).
And a couple of loysy Android apps. One second I wished they had 50 % sale even of the Arp upgrade price.

But not 50 % off the upgrade ticket price.

I have the feeling Korg have 100 different web sites. But none of them use proper server :)
However, Arp Odyssey sounds glorious and i think it´s worth the price. It also includes the 2 expansion banks with the filters and GUI colors while you have to buy them for the iOS version.
Would i pay the full price off 99? I think no. It might be worth but i just have this border in my mind when i know the iOS version cost a fraction of that.

Where’s that crackhead that was saying the Korg sounds nothing like an ARP and is not impressive?
You know that the ARP in the vid is the KORG version, not the original Odyssey?
The Legacy Collection is a virtual recreation of Korg made synths AFAIK. Maybe they modelled a vintage unit but it’s also likely they modelled a modern Korg made Arp.
