But i got that offer because i bought a nano controller and got M1LE with it, NOT because i spent so much money on Korg software in past. It's totally illogical. I'm glad i have the option, of course, but that means i need to spend $100 at one time, rather than $50 on one month and again later.fmr wrote:This means you never got the Digital Collection - so you don't have the entire collection. As I said earlier, I think you should have an upgrade path, but not the same upgrade path (just Odyssey), since you would have to buy two synths, and not just one. So, something in the $99 vein, as Jace-BeOS also got.Arrested Developer wrote: As written, i only don't have M1.
Once i updated my Legacy Collection to a version that included MonoPoly.

Thanks for posting this. How did you find this? Every time i go to the Korg pages, i can't find anything but Gadget.db3 wrote:You can buy any of the Korg Collection products individually. I picked up Odyssey for $69.fmr wrote:You seem to not get something - Currently, Korg has ONE product, which is Korg Collection. I don't know where you got that $69 price for Odyssey - I don't see Odyssey on sale anywhere for Mac or Windows, no matter the price. But I may be mistaken - if you see it, post the link.

I can't seem to find it from my Korg Account page, but then, that site seems to have no navigation to anything at all. They really REALLY did not think this whole thing through.

It is shown when you install one of the Legacy Collection plugin that it's not yet authorised on your machine.werp wrote:where the hell do you find your "locking code"?
bloody stupid business this transfer system.
I had to uninstall and delete all references from my Windows register...
but in doing that I discovered that there is a Licences.txt file with the authorization codes I got from Korg.
Perhaps it's enough to move away the licences.txt file temporarely, get your Locking Code, copy it and reput the licences file back to its place.
On Windows it's in C:\ProgramData\Korg\LM
Try it.
Hope it's useful

The Gadget versions, first and foremost, use greatly simplified GUIs because of the space constraints in Gadget itself. This results in reduced control over the synths presented, but they're still able to be tweaked (in general). They sound just as good, IMO, either way.Enkerli wrote:Will probably regret asking this here, but it’s been at the back of my mind since the announcement: apart from Windows availability, what are the key differences between these Korg (Legacy) Collection plugins and the ones which come as part of Gadget for Mac?
In other words, what are people missing if they use the Milpitas VST instead of the Wavestation one, Montpellier instead of Mono/Poly, or Lexington instead of ARP Odyssey? (There’s no Polysix or MS-20 in Gadget for Mac. Darwin does sound like it might be missing some things from M1. But it’s really not that obvious to me what may be missing from the other three: Wavestation, Mono/Poly, and ARP Odyssey.)
Heard some rumblings about “proper” desktop versions, maybe something about the number of voices, and there’s a possibility that you can do more to tweak the latency or bitdepth in those separate plugins. Those could all make sense. But it does sound like the ARP Odyssey plugin is very close to the Lexington plugin. Montpellier sounds like it uses separate pages instead of putting every setting on one screen but includes all the Mono/Poly features. Then, despite some major UI differences, Milpitas can do pretty much everything the original Wavestation could do.
So, what is it about Korg Gadget for Mac which would make those plugins subpar?
It's kind of weird that Korg has these two versions as separate products. The Korg Collection is duplicated by much of Gadget's plugin collection, but in a simplified manner.

Just to be sure: is the upgrade coupon to the new Collection at 50 $ time unlimited?
Or it will expire when the sale will finish in January and/or when Korg User Net account will be closed?
I copied of course the coupon code before loosing it with the User Net account vanishing,
but I didn't read anywhere if it will last after the sale.
Thanks in advance.

Hello there,
migration worked fine for my M1 vst without a problem but am I the only one still running on 32bit here? Because as support for 32bit is discontinued I still have to use the old installer. Haven't seen this adressed here up until now.
Cheers.

I could finally do it but I needed to 'view' the CC midi first in Odyssey, then I could make it learn.braj wrote:MAke sure you aren't playing a patch that has the arp modulating controls you are assigning. But man! I'm so glad that I did bought it yesterday

Hi,
I installed the whole collection on My windows 10 64 bit computer.
This Arp stuff sounds greeeaaat
.
I have an issue with the vsts (I use it as vst plugin in Ableton Live 9 Latest version): when the Gui is open and I change preset, sounds disappear completely. I have to close the gui and re-open it to hear the new preset. It is the same on the Arp and M1 (haven't had the time to try on the others vst).Does someone have the same issue? Thanks.

I received this response from Korg in regards to my bug report about their Installer.
The new installer does allow you to successfully install the plugin .dll in a custom location. However I get the following message when running the installer. Report sent to Korg and I sent them a link to this thread.Korg wrote:We updated installers which allow to locate VST plugins. Could you please try to download and install them again? You can download the latest installers from the download link in your email including your product codes".

If someone else could try the new installer to see if you get the same error message I'd appreciate it a great deal. I'm going to wait to see Korg's response before I move the new installers to my studio computer.
