Hey!

In short - enter details into the software, get code, enter the code on website, get response, enter the response in software. Activated.
The amount of activations can be increased, if needed (OS clean installs, etc).

Looks great but 3 days for the intro price is far too short.

Ola Englund's demo on the Mercuriall website is great. Sounds like a must have, but the timing is bad (no money near the holidays :(). I will try to wait a few months and pick this up second hand . . . .

+1, definitely not enough during holiday season with kids & family

Yes... 3 days intro price is not fair. Extend it till after holidays to be more fair...

Yep that sucks. When you think your existing customers are only worth 7 bucks I suppose it's no surprise that the intro period is this short.

Regardless of my own personal opinion on that, I ( and I would think most people would) want to check it out before buying. Personally, I'll be away for a few days and won't get a chance to demo. So the intro period doesn't exist for me. Thanks for caring Mercuriall :hihi:

On the surface the product looks awesome though.

Hi, I'll try the reaxis, but what's the transfer policy for mercurial? I remember that some products were able to be transferred other not. if u can clarify on that I'd appreciate it.

also, is it easy to uninstall, or does it spread stuff on the computer? I did a clean install recently, and I'm trying to be more selective with software that I buy.

I also think that the sale period is too short.

thanks

well I tried but it's not my thing. if u are a mesa user u are likely to love it.

the response of the amp, imo feels better than PA's mesa, but I prefer the PA's mesa sound (though models might differ).

now, what I really was impressed was the cab (sm57). incredible and very realistic sound. the wah wah sounded awesome too.

if u are a mesa fan, and don't have a lot of options, I would say it's a nobrainer.

if u have lots of option (and let's face it, nowadays the amp sims are just too good, so u need to be mind blowed), u are likely to pass as the demo has an HORRIBLE silence too frequently which totally destroy any vibe in testing it.

the plugins are NFR, so be aware of that. it's easy to install and uninstall, just the way I like it (drag and drop vst components).

for my taste, I'd get destructor from blue cat or pa amp sims over it. but I'm not a mesa fan. if I were a mesa fan, I'd be suffering form gas hehe.

I think mercuriall as a developer has a lot of potential. I always dig the youtube video demos, but there are too much shortcomings for me (NFR, demo with too much drop out, expensive depending on the "sales period" of other competitors).

I like the Mesa sound, and I think this is a pretty versatile amp, an dsounds great so far (haven't played a real lot yet).

I don't buy plugins with a thought to selling them, so don't care about NFR.

Just trying to balance some of the negativity that's creeping in... :phones:

sorry if my opinion seemed negative, but I think my opinion was actually very nice towards mercurial.

In my opinion, the response of the amp sim is more important than the sonics; as making something sound good is much easier than making the response of the amp sim behave well in my experience with amp sims.

regarding my comments for nfr, is that u only know that a plugin was "worthy" to buy after knowing it well enough, and that usually means some months with it in my point of view.

thus, the possibility to resell the plugin is important to me. a demo period is not enough to me, but I'm a nobody hehehe.

I do buy some stuff that are NFR or ilok, but it need to be absolutely mind blowing or compatible with my taste. otherwise, I'll whine about NFR or ilok (I might whine about nfr or ilok regardless too hehe)

as soon as mercurial makes something mind blowing to me or compatible with my taste, I'll probably buy it ;p

I was impressed with the cab response, so I just need to wait its new partner :]

I tested it briefly and I must say that it sounds good, you really nailed it! I sold my Triaxis a long time ago but I would swear it's the original one. It would be interesting to hear from current Mesa users what they think about it

Hi guys,

Re. the intro price - while it is not available anymore, we are running a Holiday sale for 2 weeks (ends January 7th, 11:59 PDT) and Reaxis is $79.99 (~$3 more expensive than the intro price). So still a good deal =)

Re. the license resale - our policy does not allow it. But as we are all human beings here, if this is a life/death question, we are no barbarians =)

Just tried the demo, it sounds very very good, the presets are great, But the thing that impressed me the most is... the noise-gate ! Exactly what the little beast around needs, good job guys !

I also tried reaxis and it does sound good. I like the simplicity, easy to understand. I can get a very tight powerful chuggy sound
