Yeah, I know Tal is the closest, but all things considered, I chose Lush because it is more synth for my money, and it is close enough to give me goosebumps. The workflow is close enough but has more options, I'll get much more out of the synth. $50 was a great deal.AnX wrote:Trust me, TAL is the closest by a nautical mile.
But he's already bought lush101....

No... it's not.AnX wrote:Trust me, TAL is the closest by a nautical mile.
But LuSh is a waaaay better choice than TAL overall.

Yeah, thats fair enough, you got a decent deal there. If you're not a purist its a no brainer i guess.braj wrote:Yeah, I know Tal is the closest, but all things considered, I chose Lush because it is more synth for my money, and it is close enough to give me goosebumps. But the Roland Plugout version (vst) is better than the TAL. Low end is a lot beefier.

So, after owning LuSH-101 for a while now, I have to say I really love it, it is one of my favorite synths, but it is no SH-101 replacement. It just doesn't have the bottom end, even with EQ'ing it. I did compare the Roland SH-101 cloud plugin with the TAL Bassline 101 and I am going to go with the TAL, the interface is so much better than the Roland and it has a good little step sequencer, and sounds fantastic and has a great bootie that can bring the funk
