Another busy, and perhaps heavy, track featuring the free Triple Cheese oscillator-free synth, this time with more sound processing.
Cheese.

I like this better than the last one, the second half of this track is better than the first half (After the breakdown). I like the riffs, and the progression. I also like the avant garde feel to it. I play jazz myself.
You have 3 spots I heard that I thought the change was too abrupt. It made my ears go what!? I am also hearing both clipping and phase cancellation in spots which are EQ related artifacts. Maybe take a close look at where the frequencies are being used as this plays out. It's complex so close attention to detail is required. You want to hear all of each part, all the time. Or at least I do.
2 cents.

Thanks for the comments - much appreciated. Since the initial posting the drum track was replaced, some minor modifications were made to the arrangement, a small amount of mix adjustment was done, and some percussion added. Not sure which version you've heard. If you do not mind re-listening ... would be appreciated.
I'll look into the clipping and the phase cancellation.
Cheers.

Huge difference, that sounds Great! I can hear all of the parts, the technical points I mentioned are gone, not hearing clipping or phase cancellation. The drums lent the track a bit of a Zero Seven feel. It sounds structured, polished and the moves have intent, the story of it is coming though.
I took a second pass with a super critical ear, and have two thoughts. Not even critiques, just thoughts.
- About 2/3 of the through the first movement before the breakdown, where the high parts are getting to a huge crescendo the levels might be a little hot. That also might be my cans.
- The last note of the breakdown, before the second movement starts, left me wanting a little more out of it. Just a little longer. This is an artistic choice, and I can see both sides of it.
