Tried the demo and it does sound very nice, CPU is getting barely used too. However some patches are very "clicky" - BS Deep Sub when played legato for instance, or PD Gated Love which clicks with the gateing. Couldn't get rid of the clicks no matter what...

Sounds absolutely lovely so far. The fx section is gorgeous, especially the reverb on pads. Also capable of some very nice psy bass, a wonderful snappy solid sound. Incredible job so far. If I may, a quieter demo noise would be nice if possible. Cheers.

I just tried the demo in FL and it works and sounds great at relatively low CPU usage, but when I move the pitchwheel the CPU usage rises to ridiculous levels, this can be right?

No, after I tweak anything in Viper the space bar doesn't work to start FL. I have to press play in FL manually.xbitz wrote:could u try, simply click inside the plugin on some knob and press space, does FL start playing ?ATN69 wrote:I have FL Studio 12.4.2 and i run 64-bit version with Viper. feature request, would be nice if the 'section locking' also would be visible inside the 'dynamic tabs' too

Thanks for this Adam! I'm still demoing it but I'm pretty sure I'm gonna buy it in the following days, Its so easy to work with and you can get really good sounds really fast tbh. The cpu hit is crazy - in a good way, there is almost none. Can't wait for 64bit but jbridge inside S1 works fine as well!

So i played around with Viper and i also have my Virus Ti turned on. I tried recreating some patches and with Viper. You can get similar sound to Virus
Its not the same and some patches do sound little bit different but in a way like if you would try to recreat Virus C patch on Virus Ti
Its somewhere in that area but doesnt sound like it
I would say its like a new model of Virus (D or so)
Nevertheless its really good job you have done here, congratulations!
But here are the noticable things that are different from virus ti:
1. Virus Ti sounds cleaner and filters seem to be a bit brighter (and less muddy in mid-high area) and the bottom seem to be stronger (but bottom can be fixed with eq)
2. Viper's env to osc 2 behaviour is littly bit off
3. Detune is slightly off
4. Ring modulator, the behaviour is somewhat different

You can get rid of the clicks, I think, with the punch slider on the oscillator page. Sounds really nice.

If you like Virus sound, you do not want to get rid of clickynessTouch The Universe wrote:You can get rid of the clicks, I think, with the punch slider on the oscillator page. Sounds really nice.
