It's obviously your comprehension skills that are lacking, or simply text book cognitive dissonance with a dollop of projection for good measure ... faced with your own hypocrisy (and idiocy) you have literally nothing to say, but choose instead to issue an entirely baseless ad hominem.

just worry about the utter crap coming out of your own mouth, before throwing stones at someone else :tu:

Colin is cool as a cucumber, nothing phazes him.

I'm a stoic alright! As I've said before, criticism is fine, but do endeavour to be polite in the manner in which it is packaged; it behoves no-one when things get heated, and it's not worthing upsetting anyone over audio software. Save the anger for when a Zelda game gets a slightly below average review (that's a joke, by the way.)

I think I'll get myself some mickey mouse euclidean sequencers instead :hihi:

You actually just called Brambos a mickey mouse developer, come on then smart guy, lets see your legacy of software development ?

Not my words can't take credit for that. But to say this is dated compared to that is very weird

Who said anything was dated ?
I said it had lost relevance, that was when it was a MIDI generator, now it seems it is 'nearly DAW' and seems to offer much more.
A MIDI generator only isn't very relevant in 2018 when your phone can do everything this was originally touted to do, which was my point.

To counter my comments we had idiots attack Colin and then go on to attack developers on other platforms, in this case IOS as toys, and that was actually Brambos, that is just absolutely mental, simple as that.

KVR will never change, idiots posting trash about things they know nothing at all about, and doing it with authority hahaha.

bungle wrote:I really hope this is cheap, because it passed relevance a long time ago, like i say, I am already running Euclidean sequencers and such as plugins on IOS for £10 (Brambos Rozetta collection)
In its first couple of years this looked immense.
No disrespect mean't here by the way, I own everything by Loomer, but with no audio tracks, no clip launching etc etc, this looks dated already.
I am a massive fan of BramBos and use Rozetta and Ripplemaker daily.

Nevertheless, comparing Rozetta with Architect is an apples and oranges comparison. Architect, as I understand it, will give you the tools to construct your own sequencer or build your own generative tools.

It's not supposed to be a DAW; why should it have audio tracks or clip launching? It is (or will be) an incredibly sophisticated multitrack tool for manipulating midi messages. Your or my phone definitely cannot replicate this (at the current time).

The last thing it could be accused of, IMHO, is being "dated" or "not relevant" any more.

Only one idiot [sic], not "idiots" had a pop at BramBos, and then only indirectly.

I have absolutely no interest in using my phone as a midi generator. I want a midi generator integrated into my DAW, that can be edited and manipulated on a big screen.

This thread made it to half as many pages as its predecessor. Don't you think it's time to think about a topic for its successor already? I feel we might run out of time any year now if this continues at current pace.

You can run multiple instances of your phone on every track of your Daw, integrate automation and recall for projects and route to multiple plugins and host plugins.....feaking awesome

This is the very first post describing it and what it was originally 'touted to do':
it's a modular sequencing environment. Think Thesys + Reaktor. At the most basic level, you have a massively powerful set of step sequencers, with all the nice features you'd expect (forward, reverse, pendulum playback modes; grooves; step repeat and skip, and a huge amount more). But you can also modulate each sequencer with every other sequencer; a pair of CV rows could be used to control the start and end loop markers of another sequencer, for example, or could slowly step through a numbers of keys and scales (which can be fully customised, fans of the Mela Sadvidhamargini scale will be pleased to hear).
.
But if that isn't enough, you can also dive in at a lower level and start creating your own sequencers, arpeggiators, generators, and processors.
.
.
.
Also note the Lua module and script editor: sometimes, connecting components together to form complex functional blocks is a little cumbersome: for these occasions, you can code your own module logic directly using the built-in Lua scripting environment.
So, could you just remind me which $10 iOS apps do all of what this was touted to do again?
