Did you try to start cubase in admin mode?
I use JBride to get 32bit VST's working in Cubase 9.5 and reason 10. But I have to start these DAW's in admin mode. If not, blanc screen.

Thanks, I'll try that.
It works fine i when I tried it in the Reaper demo so definately a Cubase 8.5 issue.

Annoying.. I've worked my ass off to make the cpu usage rise... I've managed to get it to 1.6%... -_-

3.4Ghz quadcore.

You hear that Adam? You can raise the voice count, no probs. ;)

Optional layering is cool. Use it or don't.

There is no difference at all.

None whatsoever.

If a plugin calculates 1+1 then the result will always be 2 regardless of whether it was coded in C++ or Delphi or Java or SynthEdit or Flowstone.

And improve the envelopes

opposite direction panning would be nice in slave mode (between osc2-3)

For me, Viper has a problem every time I play a new note, as the CPU comsumption rises a lot and causes some clicks and pops every time a new note is played. This happens with relatively easy patches like organs (sine oscillators) with just reverb. This increases when trying to play at low latencies, so it is impossible for me due to this.
I don´t have a powerful CPU, but it has never happened to me with any other plugin :(

Have you tried turning on 'fixed size buffers' under 'processing' ?

I have just tried it and everything is exactly the same

What ASIO drivers are you using?

Maybe CPU is too slow/old. I had Q9450 Core 2 quad few years ago and it was quite a bottleneck for new VSTs eve like Dune 2 whom were considered low CPU.

I asume it might be too old architecture.
