I just try u synth - you made it BRAVO - super ...the default sounds r probably one of the best ,it's real pleasure when good designer made it,super easy for programing ,intuitive workflow and most important super fun synth to play with ...tomorrow i am gonna buy some hardware with money from surprisingly successful set i made for another synth i just compare to Viper and it will b real pleasure to have it among other favorite ones :)Pricing is super not too expensive, not too cheap...In case i don't spend all money and decide to buy it want to ask something - is it online authorization and can serial be used on offline pc, also can you make list with new soundbanks and link to them on synth page - i am kind of disappointed how bad is communication between designers and developers and don't expect anything, just ask...

I am using Steinberg UR824 ASIO.Elektronisch wrote:What ASIO drivers are you using?vanerio wrote:OS: Windows 8chk071 wrote:Which host and OS are you using?
DAW: Fl Studio 12.5
CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad 2.34 GHz
Maybe CPU is too slow/old. I had Q9450 Core 2 quad few years ago and it was quite a bottleneck for new VSTs eve like Dune 2 whom were considered low CPU.
I asume it might be too old architecture.
I have used intensively a lot of synths (modern synths like Vengeance Avenger included) and effects and I never had a problem (just kontakt big libraries).
It is not a bad CPU at all. I can see how the plugin does not manage well what it does to the CPU in the CPU meter. Of course If I would have an Intel Xeon I won´t notice it, because it has a lot of headroom to fail. But this is not my CPU problem in this case as I can see how unstable it is at CPU usage.

When i said too old it was not about being slower but being old because of not having certain features that newer generation CPUs havevanerio wrote:I am using Steinberg UR824 ASIO.Elektronisch wrote:What ASIO drivers are you using?vanerio wrote:OS: Windows 8chk071 wrote:Which host and OS are you using?

+ Cpu usage: Is damn low for the sounds you can get out of it, if possible ..raise the voice limit to at least 128 or more Adam
I know this is the first release of VIper and it can be improved with more stuff like raising the voice limit, more filter types, colours to the whole skin. In overall i like this one very much Adam, very well done.

I did and quite fast. Pads with 6 notes and full unison gave me already a strugle.AnX wrote:Has anyone actually had probs with 64 voices yet, reached the limit? Seems like plenty to me.

So 6 note polyphony is your limit in that situation...blimey...

Great synth so far!
Can´t autoselect Bitwigs modulation parameter by turning a knob on Viper.
Not implemented or demo restriction?
Swing not in user-arp?
Great Unison Engine!

You really have to record a video because I cant imagine like this what is happening, and then I cant figure out what the problem isvanerio wrote:For me, Viper has a problem every time I play a new note, as the CPU comsumption rises a lot and causes some clicks and pops every time a new note is played. This happens with relatively easy patches like organs (sine oscillators) with just reverb. This increases when trying to play at low latencies, so it is impossible for me due to this.
I don´t have a powerful CPU, but it has never happened to me with any other plugin
No, its offline serialVELLTONE MUSIC wrote:is it online authorization and can serial be used on offline pc
I dont know what bitwigs modulation parameter is, I never tried it. What does it do?bite_me wrote:Great synth so far!![]()

Swing is always there you can use it for user arps or built in ones.

I think he mean the same thing as I commented on before. Viper sync the arp according to the host tempo but if you use the swing setting in the host the arp doesn’t follow the swing. This is at least true for FL Studio. Perhaps it’s possible to manually timing the swing setting in viper with the host but it’s not done automatically

Sad, that people still judge software by the tools it was made with instead of the time the developer invested. Even more so, when they don't know anything about the tools...Amram wrote:isnt flowstone like reaktor?
i mean what i read a little its sound like .
so its ridiculous to ask such a price and you are not coding the synth.
you have hundered of free reaktor ens.

Someone really needs to make a video because I still dont understand. You mean the Swing in the Fl studio step sequencer? I believe thats only for samples not for instruments, plus I dont think any other VST can link the swing from the host into their plugin, its different than a global tempo.ATN69 wrote:I think he mean the same thing as I commented on before. Yes, I am talking about the swing setting for the FL piano roll. Other plugin synths can follow the swing setting as well. I am afraid I never made any video before so I don't know if I can do it or if I can find a suitable program to do it. Capture video is easy but capture sound is another story. I will see what I can do.adamtrance wrote:Someone really needs to make a video because I still dont understand. You mean the Swing in the Fl studio step sequencer? EDIT: You are right Adam. I tried Hive, Thorn and ANA2 and in sequencer mode they also can't follow the host swing setting
I just tried something. I set the swing in FL to 40% and it correspond to 60% in Viper. It will be in sync and that knowledge is sufficient in order to get the result I was looking for

Hmm, I have never seen any synth follow the swing from there. Which synth can do that?ATN69 wrote: Yes, I am talking about the swing setting for the FL piano roll.
