Hi guys,
I would like to split the keyboard so that the notes under for example c3 go to one synth and the notes above go to another synth.
I did not see anything in the rack presets so I was looking at https://www.thepiz.org/plugins/?p=pizmidi there is the midiKeySplit plugin but somehow I could not get it working
any tips?
thanks!

I don't have time to try at the moment, but...
In a rack, accept midi in and feed that to 2 midi filters; one that blocks higher notes, and one that blocks lower ones. Then each of those send to the synths in question (or output to 2 separate tracks which may be easier to control).
... or clone the MIDI input and send the virtual input to one and the real output to the other. Use a midi filter to block lower/higher notes, just before the vst. Remember you will be recording ALL midi on the track, but only hearing the passed ones.

Good luck with that one! Can your monosynth send multiple MIDI notes at once?fwsuperhero wrote:Lol, i tried to solve this easterday wihout any luck.

ok I did it,
download midi vst:
http://www.eareckon.com/en/products/freebies.html
create a rack, insert in the rack two instances(or how many you need) one goes to a synth and the other one to the other synth.
Open the midi vsts and filter the notes you need
maybe it could be done natively in the future, it would be handier as we could choose how split the keyboard using just one midi vst and dragging the zones like Studio one does
thanks!
