Bug report:
Problem with controller assignments in the latest build. I can’t seem to assign, delete or reassign to parameters to my launchkey 49 on Logic 10.3.3. with any degree of consistency.

Nice update!
I would really love being able to rename "Favourite 1-8" and the selection not being exclusive but cummulative.
I´m thinking of naming them by genres and multitagging my presets to the genres they fit to, as I generally work this way.
(My saved track-collections in Ableton are projects called "For-Deephouse" ,"For-Deephouse-House-Techno" etc.).
In my opinion a multi-tag-matrix has the greatest potential. E.G. this way:

As inspirational input for Zebra3:
I think it would be great even having it with custom named tags saved in the preset file( additional to fixed ones). As some/many people are downloading third-party soundbanks you should then be able to predefine in the settings which are the relevant tags for you which you then will be able to choose from the browser, so it doesn´t get cluttered.
This obviously would need occasional scans of the presets for their tags.
Cheers

Found a bug in the browser (haven't seen this in the RePro's so I'm thinking it's Zebra specific): sometimes when browsing presets, the data in the info portion of the browser gets stuck. It happens consistently with one specific Walter Cruz patch called "Have a Cigar" from the PatchLib (but I've seen it with a few others too).
To reproduce:
1. Download the PatchLib content and throw that "Have a Cigar" patch in one of your folders (make sure there's other patches in the folder)
2. Launch Zebra 2.8
3. Go to the Preset Browser
4. Navigate to the folder with said patch
5. Click on "Have a Cigar" to load the preset
6. Now use the down arrow on your keyboard (typing-kind) to navigate to the next preset, and repeat a few times paying attention to the Patch Info
Result: The Patch Info from Have a Cigar still appears in the Patch Info section of the browser. To clear it, click a preset prior to this one in the folder, then any preset after it.
Expected Result: the Patch Info should update with each new patch.
Note: I've seen it with other patches, but the Have a Cigar one in particular is particularly sticky and easy to reproduce here.
This is using Cubase 9.5.10 in Windows 10 and the VST2 version (everything 64-bit).

Also, I know there's little desire to add tagging to Zebra due to the large number of existing patches that would be untagged, but as a new user, I want to still be able to manually tag patches I create or like.
For instance, I just started going through the patch library presets and there's some I'd definitely want to be able to tag for easy searching in the future and I can't. I can mark them as favorites, or rename them, and/or organize them into folders, but tagging would be a much cleaner approach.
So I'd totally prefer the tagging functions brought in to Zebra 2.8 even if it would be a fully manual effort on the part of the user.

Gui knobs / legends looks blurry at 100 % .
And at 70% ( the standard size of the original zebra ) , legends are hardly readable .
In fact there isn't one scale ratio in the beta that has a crystal clear gui , the anti-aliasing algoritm is horrible
This whole up / downscaling / stretching of graphics is imho a step back .
Vector graphics all the way , let's be honest ...every panel in zebra can be done with vector graphics , there are only gradients and slight bevels , and thank god no moog stylme knobs .
What's holding the team back .
Maybe in zebra 3 ?
my 2 cents

BUG: if I double-click an inactive module in the lane routing matrix to activate it, the left pane should scroll to make sure the now focused module panel is actually visible.
Also: I really appreciate the improved EQ UI (i.e. double-click to reset bands, visualize transfer curves of individual bands)!

BUG: The "Set currrent as default" action for the Osc module panel tabs (Phase, Osc FX, Mix) not working as expected. It seems it only determines the default tab when inserting a fresh new Zebra instance in my host (REAPER) that has already a Zebra instance loaded where I had changed the default tabs just before.
Contrary to my expectation, it has no effect in the following situations:
- after a fresh start of my host application
- after switching to another preset
- after re-opening the Zebra UI (ok, this might be debatable)
[EDIT] The current behavior is definitely broken: whenever I close and re-open UI, all Osc modules jump to "Phase" tab. I see two sane options here: either persist and restore the state of the visible tabs after closing a UI or use the saved default (which wasn't "Phase" in my case, but "Mix"). I prefer the first.

That is how "Set current as default" is supposed to behave. Only matters when instantiating Zebra.

Any reason why the new wavefolder effect is not available in the effects section ?

It would be garbled mess when applied on sum of polyphonic voices, not very useful. Might as well use white noise instead.
