Thanks Hink.

Like i said, im happy to follow your request.

The only thing I'm personally concerned about is the KLC collection itself and what "real" updates are going to be made to it (outside of the Odyssey addition) and when.

Most importantly, the size of the plugins, which I think almost everybody will agree are way too small to be of any use in today's monitor resolutions.

Has any definitive word been handed down by Korg regarding this specific issue as far as "if" and "when?"

I've yet to see anything official.

So does anybody here have any "real" info and not just speculation?

Guys & Gals,

I understand everyone's will for serious updates to KLC from Korg.

Bigger GUI? Yes - It's elementary! for Wavestation and MS20 at the very least.

but if you're like me, Wavestation fanatics (really it's one of my favorite synths), loading external cards is tedious! probably no less than the hardware itself. there has to be a way to make it easier. just as Roland did with the D50 - it has place for infinite libraries/cards/banks.

I've used the support website at support.korguser.net and filed a ticket there. (It's a Zendesk support system)
Seems like they have no means of revisiting a ticket.
I have received an autogenerated "we have received your ticket - please wait in queue" email after submitting... nothing else so far.

Of course, this forum was mostly helpful in solving that problem. Even so, I'll continue to use the plugins, because there is no alternative. I however, will think twice before recommend Korg plugins, and will warn others of their terrible support (unless it improves drastically).
Oh poor boy! What a pity... Shall we call the police or set up a charity? :hyper:

Korg adds another subtractive analog style synth to KLC but minimally updates the old parts. It is generally a lot more profitable to sell something new (even if it is based on something old) than to fix or update something old.

I've really no idea what prompts such personal attacks on the internet.

The highest form of knowledge is empathy, for it requires us to suspend our egos and live in another's world. It requires profound, purpose‐larger‐than‐the‐self kind of understanding.

Hey Hink, I know this is annoying you but this guy clearly doesn't understand how computers work so I'm just trying to help him out.

You can run 32 bit software on a 64 bit OS without any problems. I buy a brand new laptop every year and I've been using 64 bit Windows since 2008. It doesn't affect any of my existing software of peripherals. Surely you understand this? If not, go and have a look in your "Program Files (x86)" folder and see how much 32 bit software you have on your PC. Wait on, come to think of it, if you think you can't run 32 bit software on a 64 bit OS, it probably means you're a Mac user. Am I right?

Actually, one of the things I like most about the KLC plugins is the size of their UI. It's close to perfect for me. Maybe you need to change the scaling on your computer? Or do all the over-sized UIs on other plugins make that non-viable?
