For PS 2.5 customers who purchased Breeze 2 already and were promised the "Simply Better Expansion" at no cost:
  • Add the Simply Better Expansion to your cart:

    https://www.designersound.com/breeze-ex ... nsion.html
  • Goto checkout.
  • If you qualify you should see a special voucher pop-up auto-magically. Accept it. The price should be made $0.00.
  • Confirm the order. Then goto "My Downloads" to download it.

After trying the new expansion, all I could think of is this :

It is... simply better :D
What is best ? How do you define 'best'? If you're talking about what you can think, what you can feel, what you can listen and hear, then 'best' is simply marketing signals (ie. hype) interpreted by your brain.

Hi Andrew ,

Can seem to get the preset search function to work?

Using Studio one Pro 3.

Clicked on the search box and started typing, my DAW only recognises the letters as keyboard shortcuts....and no letters are entered in the search box...

double click on the text field, then type.

there is no visual indication of when a text edit box is open though at the moment, so this is confusing, yes. this is still something we have to add.

ya, I guess for a catchy marketing slogan to be effective is has to be:

1) catchy
2) true

Oh I thought I qualified since buying Breeze 2 and having everything else (even if I didn't buy them as a pack) but didn't

of course you are. email/pm your real name/email so I can see what is different about your order history. There were some unusual things over the years, and maybe I forgot one..

actually let's try something:

add it to your cart:

https://www.designersound.com/breeze-ex ... nsion.html

goto checkout. If you qualify you should see a special voucher pop-up auto-magically. Accept it. The price should be made $0.00.

Does that work for you?
OK - this worked for me too - after I realised that you have to click on the voucher code - to actually make it take effect (I hadn't realised this the first time I tried) (DOH!) ;-)

I think I also qualify for this as I bought Aether, B2, Breeze and Kaleidoscope + expansion packs last Xmas, though not all at once.
When I added the simply better expansion to my cart it didn't show as £0 though..
I've sent an email regarding this to you..

Andrew Souter wrote: Is this in AU/Logic? Someone mentioned something about fixing permissions and reinstalling somewhere earlier in the thread.
It didn't actually work, i followed the permissions reset.
the only thing that's really different that it doesnt crash when i unload it.

I just installed 2.0.2 (fresh) and when i load either Breeze1 or Breeze2 (named differently), breeze2 opens. :?
i had this issue before on my old system, but i did a clean-wipe from scratch now (and i also removed all traces from 2.0.1 from my system)

https://imgur.com/a/H4Ubp

I'm a little afraid this wont go away with 2.0.3 (final release) either, and as it is I can't use it unless i clear all my projects at the same so i can stop using breeze1, or in the meantime stop using breeze at all before i migrate to 2. (none of which I'm particularly happy with)

OSX still has minor GUI artifacts
OSX GUI artifacts manifest more severely when using Light Mode GUI (if on OSX you probably want to use Dark Mode atm)
Both modes seem equally flickery on my system, bits of the underlying DAW keep showing through, particularly when I am playing notes.

Can I just verify that 2.0.2 doesn't actually update the dll from the last version?
It must just update the support files?

still on win7 32? with 32bit host? we don't know if that works. Win7 64, with 64bit host works.
