Hello u-he and users, I've got a very specific feature request for Tyrell N6.Very soon, I will be releasing a standalone application that can do real-time 1:1 monophonic Audio to MIDI conversion. It is called MIDI Merlin. The latency and tracking resolution are excellent and it works with a variety of clean input sources.
My main instrument is the theremin (I play professionally). I developed MIDI Merlin specifically to augment my analog control of the instrument... I wanted a data pipe that could sustain a 1:1 relationship of pitch and amplitude to the output, and I wanted to use MIDI.
Ok, so the request is: +/- 96 semitone bend range option.
There are a few reasons why I need this, but the most important reason is so that I can get a smooth transition when performing glissandi of greater length than the current maximum of 24 semitones. I have implemented a temporary fix to overcome the current limit, but there are audible side-effects. Check out the video for a demonstration.
(I am new to KVR, so I guess my video can't be linked yet...) Here is the youtube url (copy/paste):
Have you ever wanted to control a synth with your voice in real-time and maintain full continuous expression? MIDI Merlin makes it possible.
