Creating a drum pad set in Mulab in order to play external hardware expanders ?

Hello,

if I am not mistaken, it is not possible to target a midi interface from a mudrum set; but I would like to know if there is a way to mimick it in the modular area. Unless I am wrong ?

In the modular area, I saw that note pads can be created through "note even pad" module with note and midi channel edit. I added and hooked each one to the midi interface through the blue wires after editing note name and midi channel; it is ok, the external hardware drum expander (following the midi interface) is sounding when clicking on the pads. In other words, with several "note even pads" set to different note and midi channel, I managed to make a connection with all the hardware drum sounds.

But I don't know how to gather all those "note even pads" in a set looking like a Mudrum Set, I tried to hook them to a "Drum Note Processor" but there is no sound, unless I missed something.

If this issue can be solved, I would also like to know if there is a way to have a narrowed piano roll displaying only the notes dedicated to the individual sounds from the external hardware drum expanders I would like to sequence through Mulab's pianoroll,

Thank you very much

If you want to generate audio output from event input you need some form of audio generator module. What you choose depends on the sound you're after.

Is this what you want?

You would need to start with a MUX (in Modules/Other) and place the Event Pads inside.
Add all the blue outputs to the Event Out.
For the pads to show on the front panel, edit the front panel (pencil button in the header), right click/add component and select the note event pad. Then point with the hand on the event pad module you want to add. These can now be changed in size/position/color to create something like MuDrum.

In my screenshot I just used 2 pads to show the principle.
