Cubase SX = Cubase SIX

SIX + 3 = 9 !
<klugsch-mode>
SIX + 2 = 8

Read into that what you will
I don't think its the switch, i think he's just past his prime thats all.

There was frankly little chance he would improve on some of the stuff on "jilted generation", and he rarely has since.

I still think "girls" is a great track, nice and filthy :D
Reason has nothing to do whether that album is musical or not. That's pretty short sighted to think that Reason could make an electronic album sound totally crappy.

Would not the artist programming the tunes have anything to do with it? I mean, give me a piece of charcoal and some paper, and I'll give you a stick figure. But give those same tools to a great artist, and they can do things that I would never have thought of...with just charcoal!

Its not the tools, its the artist. Arguably, Liam's been "going downhill" for some time now, so I don't see how Reason plays into it. I happen to like the new album, so to each his own.
Thats exactly what i was saying you moron!

Well done for somehow reading the exact opposite of what my post meant! I'm saying that i think liam has had his best time, and it isn't now. Its got nothing to do with Reason, and thats was my point!

:)
Sorry quincy, I was agreeing with you :D I should have stated that at the beginning. I was supporting your argument.
No worries mate.

Ignore my harsh words, i'm like that with everyone! :D

No, it's 8. SX is SX 1, so SX 3 = 8 :P

Its not name dropping. It has nothing to do with name dropping. Its fact that he created a demo song called "Four Notes" for Reason 2.5, he did it in an afternoon with his laptop at the park, and its a great demo. It would be a great demo if anyone did it. What's impressive is the song itself.

You asked if it could do more than one note. I'm stating that 1) yes you can and 2) it doesn't take alot of notes to make a good tune, just talent.

If your not interested, than why did you ask "who?"? Sounds like a question with the dead giveaway being the question "mark".

also: did Logic also make a jump leaving out one version like Cubase did (from 3 to 5)? if not they're actually equal .

Cubase didn't leave out 4. Only on the PC side. Mac had a 4.0, but PC went from 3.7 to 5.0 for some reason.

Remember the title sequence to the TV series "I CLAUDIUS," set in Imperial Rome?

There's the S. :-) By the way, I stood for badger (so would you), and X stood for mushroom.

No, it's 8. SX is SX 1, so SX 3 = 8 :P
That must be the reason why I accidentally wrote "SIX + 3 = 8" first, and then quickliy edited my post!

We got Live 4, Wavelab 5, Sonar 4 and Cubase SX 3.
What about those guys from Sweden? what's going on? Where is Reason 3?
'cause "Drum Kit Refill" is hardly a subtitute.

What is sorely missing from all of this on all host/intsta studio fronts is any real 3D graphics support or any online jamming or online environment support what/so/ever- Yep-> I am saying somebody send the Swedes and the cats from imageline to Texas to hang out with id software!

We need changes sisters, I want an online addition with a fully immersive, completely user modifiable, 3D space to jam in with you and others live and in real-time! Pick up the pace and connect us with each other and an online audience developers- People are playing games round the world with each other in cool environments while were still passing files and pressing CD's. Its lame the tech is there and the internet is too get on the ball!
