But to everyone writing off Echo, the new delay plugin, try it. It’s not like every other delay plugin. It doesn’t just have unique results but it also sounds good.

I'm really surprised at how stable the beta has been. I only crashed it once, and I couldn't repeat the crash.thecontrolcentre wrote:10 has been stable for me. No crashes at all. I like the Wavetable synth and the Max integration very much. The dual panning option is cool too, and I like the new "look". My Live 9 projects all load fine in 10. I will be upgrading for sure.

Constant crashes with me on WIndows 10 with a busy session, 5 crashes in a 2 hour session last night. 9 rock solid in comparison, stick with that for a while.

Have you tried making them bigger? Just sayin‘.topaz wrote:Loving 9 even more ... 10 introduced tiny fonts that are a headache to read on a 28' screen.
But seriously, I am using Ableton on a Macbook with various different secondary monitors. In some situations the new interface fonts work extremely well, in others I have to admit that I need to scale them up a bit.

Updating your DAW in the middle of a project is not recommended.
V10 doesn't have enough new going on to shake $200 out of my pocket. The better m4l integration looks good, and some of the other additions look good, but not that good. Echo? I already have PSP Echo as well as a boatload of other delays.
Posters asking for opinions shound be treated fairly. Posters asking for opinions should treat other posters asking for opinions fairly.

You can run them in parallel which makes this less of an issue as long as you take the usual precautions (project backup etc).CrystalWizard wrote:Updating your DAW in the middle of a project is not recommended.

Why wait? Get the beta now. It's open to anyone who has Live 9. I got tired of waiting. I've been using 10 beta for almost two weeks now.risome wrote:If you diss it don't upgrade and then get on with making music. Personally i will be enjoying the new improvements .Is it Feb yet

I've been beta testing for a while. Some crashing, not too bad. The new features, esp. Echo, Drum Buss, Wavetable and Capture are worth it for me. As someone previously stated Live 9 projects all open, no probs. Lots of new features as has been stated elsewhere. Try for yourself.
