Hi folks,

I can't find much explanation of the "link" function in the MXXX manual, only this:

"Link button enables parameter linking between bands. Every change performed with this enabled changes all bands."

Anyone?

Maybe give me an example of use?

Thanks! ......... D

Well, "it does what it says on the tin" (a reference to UK TV adverts for Ronseal)

If you have added, say, an EQ module to two bands, and LINKed those bands then any changes in one of the EQs will be applied to the other EQ too. But it is everything or nothing - so I cannot see much use for it here.

Say you have 1 EQ on one band, and 2 on another; think of them as EQ_1, EQ_21 and EQ22 respectively. Changing EQ_1 will change EQ_21 and vice versa. Changing EQ_22 will not change either of the others. The linking of the modules in the different bands depends on the order in which the modules are added in each band.

Ah, ok, i took the word band to mean a vertical route in the matrix, but now i realize that it's only for use in multiband applications.

Thanks!
