in fact I continue to use live 9 in all "mission critical" applications - performance, serious mixing, composition projects... I beta test on new experimental projects (I'm always finding new ways to use Live). I've performed with Live 10 2x - one of those times was this morning.

I think a big part of Live10 upgrade's value is in these packs.
There's a huge number of sounds included in Suite. Many are good and useful, especially the various drum kits.

If I had realized how many of these packs were in suite I would have held off buying more than a few third party kontakt libs and such.

Is the only way to move the playhead in arrangement view still clicking somewhere on the grid? this always struck me as insane.
I used to own live, I do a lot of midi editing. So, while i was editing parts in the edit window at the bottom, I would have to keep clicking in the arrange view to move the playback position. Sure you can click in the edit window ruler but it goes back to the previous playback position after you hit stop. Ridiculous. Every other DAW I've used (Cubase, Logic, Reason, FL studio, Studio one) allows you to move the playhead while you're in the edit view. I just don't understand how they could overlook this.

I haven't been able to try the beta since before upgrading - now, I'd rather just wait a week.
From what I've seen, the improvements in 10 are... basically everything I've been hoping for. Even some things I didn't know I wanted, like having a separate automation view. Wavetable looks/sounds fantastic, as does Echo and Drum Buss. I'm also unusually hyped for the bass mono switch on the utility... no more splitting up/filtering my kick drums.
Based on what you've said, though... I can't really think of all that much that would benefit you. I spend a ton of time in the arrangement view, and the workflow changes are an absolute godsend, but if I were you I probably wouldn't bother. But hey, maybe I'm wrong. Try the beta, there's only so much you can get out of hearing someone else's opinion.
