Hello everyone !

I'm fairly new to this whole world of making music on a computer (or making music at all), so please forgive me if I missed some obvious things.

I got Tracktion 6 thanks to the free promotion, and I have been experimenting and creating during my free time. I'm using a lot of free vst software as my budget is limited, but I've ran into problems with some of them.

They are downloaded to my vst folder and Tracktion is correctly searching this folder for new plugins, however I'm getting an error message saying they appear as plugin files but can't be correctly loaded. I'm using the 64bit version of tracktion.

Example of one of them : DSK Guitars Steel, which I got for free here : http://www.dskmusic.com/dsk-guitars-steel/ (http://www.dskmusic.com/dsk-guitars-steel/)

Why are they not compatible ? Can it be changed ?

Thanks a lot folks !

You can only load 64-bit plug-ins in to the 64-bit versions of Tracktion/Waveform (similar limitation with 32-bit), unless you use some sort of bridging software. JBridge does, by all accounts, allow this. The DSK Steel Guitars loads in the 32-bit T6, so that's your problem. I have the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of T6/T7/W8 on this PC. W9 will only be available as 64-bit.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

Ohhh right ! I assumed that the 64-bit version would be compatible with 32-bit plug-ins. So it really was that simple :)

Thanks a lot !
