I went to download a plugin from Waves to test before I bought. Their download forced me to load the NEW Wave Center.
Oh no
The dreaded thing is back and it is hungry for more victims.
Long story short
1) Install new Wave Center
2) All Waves Plugs deactivate automatically
3) Reinstall everything
4) Plugs I own are now in demo mode...unusable
Yes I entered all their silly security and multiple logins.
I would contact support, but as a fellow Tracktion user, you probably know they are rude to us.
I only wanted to run the demo to see if their extremely picky plugins would work before I bought. Instead I was vandalized.
Does anyone have any help they can offer?

I've got no answer for you except to say that I installed their latest software updates...and everything is still working here. I wish I could be more helpful.

All works with me too. The only thing I can suggest if you haven't already tried, is open waves central as administrator, the latest updates to my plugins were hanging, till I closed W/C and reopend as Administrator.gesslr wrote:I've got no answer for you except to say that I installed their latest software updates...and everything is still working here. I had to clear the Tracktion list of plugins and rescan. That fixed it. A little bother, but would be nice if it was transparent.
We'll see what happens next time.
Thanks for the responses and glad that you have not had the same problem.
