Bank/Preset Management Options

Hi there,

I have a large number of sylenth banks saved up (Over a few hundred). Most of these banks have anywhere from 5-100 presets in them. Switching banks and have to reset the pitch bend to my prefered setting can be a bit annoying....so I tried consolidating down banks, by exporting presets, and then naming then merging folders and renaming presets in Mac's Finder. However, I have found that presets I rename in finder still import into Sylenth with their old name.

So given this - does anyone know of an easy way to do any of the following with Sylenth presets/Banks:

1. Merge Banks
2. Mass Rename Presets
3. Quickly Extract Presets from FXB without Using Sylenth Export Function?

If there is no solution to this, it would obviously be nice if LennarDigital could come up with some sort of solution. I love the synth part of sylenth but compared to other modern VSTs, the browser is very far behind.

It would be great if there was a rename option such as "File name -> Patch name" and "Patch name -> File name" for sure. Very handy. It totally sucks when the file names are all "BS Funky Wub Wub [dark]" or something at least mildly descriptive, then you load it into Sylenth1 and the preset name is "Bass 01"... when you have 100 preset names like this, it really sucks balls to rename.

yeah would be handy, perhaps a "Load Bank into Current Bank" option that loaded the presets from a new bank starting from the currently selected preset...? or something

I think that would require a full browser wouldn't it?

otherwise, I dig the patch management in Sylenth1, at least it's something. and has keyboard shortcuts which is very cool.

Presets have an internal name (so you can save many of them in 1 bank file). If you want Sylenth1 to load preset files by their filename instead of their internal name:

Click MENU -> Open Data Folder. Browse to Config and open Settings.xml. Then set usefilename in the line below to 1, as such:

<PresetFolder remember="1" path="" usefilename="1"/>

Save it and relaunch Sylenth1.
