Hi all a quick check please. On windows where should the third party presets ideally be place in the new folder structure for zebra little confused thanks.
Should it be
C:\Users\MyName\Documents\U-he\Zebra2.data\Presets\Zebra2\Presets\Zebra2
as this is where I can get them to show up or should they be elsewhere by default.
Thanks guys.

Not even regular Zebra 2.8 is out. HZ 2.8 will follow after official release of regular Zebra.

As EvilDragon already pointed out, the preferences section has got you covered.classic wrote:How do I just overwrite the preset I just created with the new tweakes I did.
Zebra 2.8 always stores a new copy with a new number behind it.
It acutally also does not seem to work to store the preset in the folder I want it to.
May be I do it wrong.
Set "Auto Versioning" to "off" to avoid adding the counter number during saving.
And set "Save Presets to" to "selected folder" if you want to save them somewhere else than in the user section.

You can install the third party presets either in \Zebra2.data\Presets\Zebra2, which is the location where the factory presets are being installed to.MFXxx wrote:Hi all a quick check please. Or you could install them to the user presets location in \Zebra2.data\UserPresets\Zebra2.
If they don't show up immediately, you just have to do a manual preset database refresh by right-clicking in the directory tree in the preset browser and choosing the refresh command.

Thank you for it finally working in
C:\Users\MyName\Documents\U-he\Zebra2.data\Presets\Zebra2\Presets\Zebra2
Confused me as the new install appeared to install a new sub folder in the presets\zebra folder so the sub directory address was extremely long, totally confused me some like as it seemed to replicate the last two sub directories again.
All good. I think

"C:\Users\MyName\Documents\U-he\Zebra2.data\Presets\Zebra2\Presets\Zebra2" looks wrong to me.
Should be "C:\Users\MyName\Documents\U-he\Zebra2.data\Presets\Zebra2\" only.

Thats what I figured Howard.
The installer defaults to the previous location, so appears to confuse things.
C:\Users\MyName\Documents\U-he\Zebra2.data\Presets\Zebra2\
and then extends it on the install/update to
C:\Users\MyName\Documents\U-he\Zebra2.data\Presets\Zebra2\Presets\Zebra2
So I guess the work around is to reassign on install is to manually assign the default to
C:\Users\MyName\Documents\U-he\Zebra2.data
Ive simply copied all the sub folders back and deleted the additional. All working now.

Man, oh, man. I love the new skins. They make it much easier for me to see and understand what is going on. I still think the sequencer styles are clunky, I think the styles in Repro-1 are the best ever, but that's a minor quibble.
