Anyone know what the upgrade price is for Indent to Dent 2 or Sandman to Sandman Pro?
I have Dent 2 and Sandman Pro already but I need to advise some other internet dings as to what to do with their vouchers!

Indent freebie to Dent was $30 for me (so almost free with my voucher!). Not sure about the Sandman Pro upgrade price; curious about that one as well.
EDIT: it appears that only the original Indent and not the currently available Indent 2 can be upgraded. Sorry for the misleading post.

With a purchase of Dent 2, you get Indent 2 as a bonus. With a purchase of Sandman Pro, you get Instant Delay as a bonus.
I think I am remembering that correctly.
Would there be any reason to get Sandman if I already own Sandman Pro? I know, I will demo. Just curious!

Kinda wondering this myself. Pro seems to be the grandaddy version for sure.dandezebra wrote:With a purchase of Dent 2, you get Indent 2 as a bonus. With a purchase of Sandman Pro, you get Instant Delay as a bonus.

I'm already pretty well-covered between that, Ubermod, and Late Replies ....

Any opinions on the orchestral stuff on VSTBuzz at the moment?
Trying to gauge the value of those vs. upgrading to Komplete Ultimate for the orchestral libraries included with that, as well as the other things.
One of my primary motivators to move up to Ultimate later this year will be for the orchestral libraries in KU. (I realize they are somewhat simplistic, but I'll just be using them for color or intros/outros, not the focus of actual songs.)

Oops. That's a good one too, though. Vocalisa is sweet and the orchestral stuff as well. But note that the Brass part is only a section of the full library.

I think this is what I bought the last time. The Rhapsody stuff gets decent reviews. I haven't used it much. It is a basic orchestra in parts with sustain, legato, staccato, staccatissimo, and tenato. Separate Brass, winds, strings and choir sections. Choices are unison or chords. And there is an ensemble, unison and chords. The full Bravura Scoring Brass is good, but they are only giving you the FX and chords. Useful, but not as good as the full version which I would rec if you do trailer music type stuff. Rhapsody comes with a choir, but it only sings "ah". The Vocalisa choir has much more versatility. Not as good as the Venus, but a decent women's choir.
And just so you know, the Furia Strings is usually free with any Impact Soundworks purchase over about $25-30. They will upgrade the Bravura to the full version at a price. If you wait for a sale, it is not a bad deal.

Yeah I was actually referring to both of the VST deals, though moreso the Rhapsody bundle.
I don't do trailer work, so my needs for "complex" vocal libraries are pretty minimal. I did get the Soundiron Mars choir full version on a discounted bundle sale, which is probably more than I'll ever need. Soundiron stuff seems to be consistently good quality from what I've picked up so far.
I'll ponder those sales though, thanks for the feedback. I have some days to decide if I need them or not.

It's a good deal, depending on what you use an orchestra for. If it's just backing chords in say a pop piece, Rhapsody is perfect. But if you want to do complicated orchestration, you would be better off with Komplete Ultimate's orchestral sounds. There's no solo instruments in the IS bundle.
Impact Soundworks stuff is good for what it is. I love the Sonic Forest and Sonic Ocean.

I like only one product of the bundle, Rhapsody: Orchestral Percussion.
For getting that, I shoud buy 4 other products, which I don´t need nor like.
What the heck should I do with the slavic womens choir?
The price is good for even Rhapsody: Orchestral Percussion, only.
If buy the bundle, I will not install anyhting else than that, i.e. tens of gigas stuff to the wasteland...
